More than half the items we wanted to order were either unavailable or had run out that day. I asked for no spicy hakka noodles but it tasted like they pour the whole bottle of black peppers on it when it came out. Our kids ordered a simple chocolate sandwich (Nutella on bread, nothing fancy), and it took almost 45 minutes to arrive. Ironically, around the 40-minute mark, we saw a staff member bringing bread in through the front door for the sandwich.
Other food were straight bad, chole was just boiled and soaked on the some gravy. Chat was just that chole and yogurt, no garnish.
Giving 2 stars for the effort, but setting the right expectations would have been far better than disappointing customers over a few bucks.
A roti is supposed to be soft and edible, not brittle like cardboard with gaps in it. This feels poorly made, rushed, and careless. Basic quality standards are clearly not followed. Serving something like this is honestly embarrassing.
Would not recommend to anyone. Total waste of money and time.
Avoid at all costs
These rotis are shockingly bad. After heating on a pan, they don’t stay soft or edible — they turn rock-hard and brittle like papad, not roti. You literally need effort to tear them, let alone eat them.
I don’t care what price point this product is sold at. Charging less money is NOT an excuse to sell poor-quality food. The bare minimum expectation from a roti is that it remains soft after heating — and this product fails spectacularly at that.
Thickness is completely off, texture is awful, and the end result feels like I’m chewing cardboard. Calling this a “roti” is misleading at best.
If a brand cannot maintain basic quality, they should rethink selling the product altogether instead of expecting customers to accept substandard food.
Would not recommend. Will not repurchase.
Their shrikhand deserves a special mention — it’s absolutely excellent, just like the kind we make back home in India. I only wish they would include it more often in the thali, because it’s the perfect sweet ending to such a satisfying meal.
