I have been going to A Taste of Thai for years and I love it. The chicken pad Thai is amazing and I have tried all of their curries. The curries are delicious and plentiful. I was able to have 3 additional meals! The service is great and I love the waitress who has always taken good care of me. Authentic cuisine and fabulous service make this place a must visit.

I always love coming here! The food is amazing but be careful which spice level that you choose 1-5. I like spicy food but I only get a level one and it’s plenty. Nice quaint place!!! Great service!

This was a great place for Thai food! My Thai family and I enjoyed a delicious lunch here. The Massamun was a little thin, but the flavor of all dishes were good! The owner was so kind as well. The biggest downfall was there was not a dessert option. I’d recommend giving Taste of Thai out!

Recommended dishes: Som Tum, Pla Ka Pao, Moo Krob Pud Ka Na, Tao Hoo Tod, Singha beer

I go here frequently. I love it! The food is great and there are tons of options. The staff have always been thorough in explaining what is in the dishes and are happy to make substitutions for me to make certain dishes vegan.
The dining room is small and cozy. If it’s a busy night, that can feel a little too cozy, but my schedule usually keeps me away during peak times. I go for late lunch and really really enjoy the quiet atmosphere and personal service. The woman that’s there during the day is a joy to interact with!
Unless you are an experienced spice eater, go very light on the spices!!!! There is a chart on the tables that shows a 1-4 scale on the spice level. There are unlisted options of “no spice, a pinch, and half spice”. I’m at half spice and it’s plenty. It was once offered to me to get extra spice on the side when I ordered takeout, so that may be an option if you’re unsure of what you can handle.

A Taste of Thai is a hidden treasure! This is the best thai food I’ve ever had! I will pick driving to Oldham County from Louisville over any of the Jefferson County thai resturants. 100 times over.

My favorite dish is the pineapple fried rice. The serving size is generous! Flavor is delicious. I don’t like spicy food, so I always ask for a 0 heat level! Ha!!! My friend who does like spicy things says a 1 is just right for her. p.s. If the server makes a heat level suggestion, take it! She knows what she’s talking about!

By the way, the main server that has always helped us is so kind and friendly. Even though I’m more of an occasional customer (not super regular because I don’t live close), she still remembers me when I eat here! That is great customer service!

Great restaurant right in the middle of crestwood! Great food. I got mine pretty spicy. Very delicious. Very reasonably priced. We have a family of 5 and ate for less than $40. Highly suggest splitting an adult entree for children. One adult meal fed 3 younger kids. Service was excellent. There were quite a few people there, and she took great care of everyone. This is definitely a hidden gem. I’ve never had Thai food until today, it’s definitely worth a try. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!!

The best thai restaurant around! Every dish I’ve had had been excellent and the last that runs the front room is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met I would probably come back even if the food wasn’t top tier because of the service!

Food was excellent, the spice level was clearly explained. Server helped us decide on the spice. We will definitely be back.

In our opinion, the food and service is way better than Simply Thai.

Right from when you come in, they greet you and make you feel welcome. Please, ask the waitress(and I think she was one of the owners) what they recommend and about heat levels! If they recommend a low heat level, you can get extra chili on the side…but start low. Husband had the Pad Thai (pork, but wants to try chicken next time) at 1/2 a level…it gave a little heat in the very back ground. He thought it was phenomenal! I had the green curry that comes with a side of rice(only green curry they have listed) with chicken, Thai eggplant, bamboo strips, and Thai basil; at a level 1. Def would get again and again. A simple curry, packed with flavor, and at this heat level…perfect for me. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic, just as a starter. My wife and I just visited for lunch. She got some chicken fried rice, and I got the same, but with bell peppers and added veggies. Best fried rice I’ve ever had.

Disclaimer! A spice level 1 here, is about a 4 at simply Thai. The lady there was very nice, and let me know that 1 was probably enough. They have a range from 1-4, and I, familiar with other Thai places around, thought “hey a 3 sounds good”. She was nice enough to say I should start with a 1. And that was the correct spice for me.

Very tasty food, loads of fresh flavor. Their spring rolls (chicken and veggie) are delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back.
