The food was good. Had the chicken basket and my friend had a hamburger. The waitress was really nice and friendly. We got our food in a timely manner. It was a good experience. The atmosphere was pretty bland. It felt like you were sitting in a big white box. So not much to look at but the food was good.

Cardinal Cafe is cozy, friendly & one of the best things to happen to Ione since overalls became everyday wear. The folks here make you feel at home , and you really have to try the banana Italian soda with cream.

Wanted to try this place out today with my co-workers, had our orders taken, we sat for 1hr before a different waitress told us our orders were lost,didn’t have time to wait.

Cute little charming and unexpected place in the middle of nowhere where.. I definitely recommend it especially with their adorable new waitress Chelsea.. everyone there is super nice the owner is very kind and it seems to be going great down there.. they are always coming up with new specials I’m so glad they bought this place I can’t say enough good about them as a matter of fact we’re heading down there right now for lunch well in about an hour.. if you’re ever anywhere near ione Oregon you should definitely just stop by and check it out for yourself.. I’m tellin ya and the milkshakes are super yummy also..
