Terrible drive through service. Sounded like they didn’t want to be working. Very unhelpful with questions when ordering. Tempting not to return. We shall see how the food turns out.
Since the owner commented, and seems to be concerned about the service, I’ll update my review from one star to four stars. Subtracting one star due to the poor service.
The burgers were hot and fresh, and made to order correctly. The fries were abundant and also very fresh. The milkshakes are thick and full of flavor. All of the food was very good, and I recommend P. Terry’s if you’re looking for a great drive thru burger option.

The economy plus burger. Tiny in size, power punch of flavor, for a first time trying, it’s surprisingly light, juicy, not a lot going on with the special sauce that’s added, but the meat is cooked great, good bun, and the price is ridiculously cozy. The meal with stick fries didn’t do much, not a fan of that type of fry but it’s a good size combo for the price for sure. Mexican vanilla milkshake was fantastic. Definitely coming back to try the other items.

Terry’s Burger Stand has always been one of my favorite spots for a fresh, quality burger, but after seeing how the owner stepped up during the recent Texas floods, my respect for this company has grown even more. It’s rare to find a restaurant that not only serves amazing food but also truly cares about the community it’s a part of.
The burgers here are exactly what you want juicy, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients you can taste in every bite. Their fries are crispy perfection, and the milkshakes are a must-try (the chocolate is next-level good). But beyond the menu, what makes P. Terry’s special is the people behind it.
A huge shout-out to the owner for showing real leadership and compassion during such a difficult time for so many Texans. They didn’t just talk about helping they took action, supporting those impacted by the floods in ways that make a difference. That kind of integrity and generosity deserves recognition.
The staff is always friendly, the drive-thru is quick, and the restaurant is spotless. It’s the kind of place you can stop by for a casual lunch or dinner and always leave satisfied not just because of the food, but because you’re supporting a company that gives back.

Friendly woman took our order, food was excellent, there’s a sandbox for the children outside, the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is massive and costs only $1.00 and the banana bread loaf costs $11.85 and the slice is $1.85 per slice, would definitely recommend this place for a family gathering

I went to try the place out on the second day they were open for business. It was crowded with lots of people there. However, they had lots of staff on hand to accommodate the crowd. The staff were friendly. The food was well made. It’s a neat looking place. It reminds me of old Time burger joint. I hope they keep up the good work. They are in my neighborhood so it’s very convenient.
I did like the burger. I tried to double cheeseburger. It was pretty good. The chocolate shake was excellent.
Overall, it was a good experience and I will return.

The burgers and fries were all fresh and delicious and the employees were very nice as well. The atmosphere was lively and pretty crowded on weekends but I’m pretty sure it’s less crowded during the weekdays. Overall, this place has good food for reasonable prices and I would definitely come again!

Welp, today came at me like a feral raccoon. After grocery shopping, all I wanted was a glorious cheeseburger to restore my will to live. That’s it. A simple, innocent dream. But the drive‑thru kids were acting real sketchy about taking our card — like they were holding it up to the light to check for watermarks or waiting for it to start talking. That should’ve been my first clue that the universe was about to clown me.
We get home, open the bags, and immediately realize we’ve entered the “plot twist” portion of the day. No chicken nuggies for the kids. Our two burgers? Gone. Missing. Vanished like they were part of a witness protection program. Instead, we got some fully-loaded “everything we found in the back” creation that looked like it was assembled during an earthquake. No one ordered it. No one wanted it. Yet there it was, staring at me like I was the problem.
So I had to put on my Responsible Adult Cape and deal with it, even though my soul was screaming. But honestly… that’s what I get for skipping the sacred drive‑thru Bag Check Ritual. Rookie mistake. The fast‑food gods do not forgive.

We had the grilled chicken sandwich, fries, burgers and shakes. The burgers are small but the food is fairly priced. You get tons of fries. Nice facility, intended for in and out. Shake was delicious, the chicken sandwich is the reason I’m going back for sure.
