The environment was very hot and I played I a pool tournament so I suffered the hot atmosphere for 3 hours. They have 2 window unit A/C’s there, however, they were not working, and/or, not sufficient enough to cool the place. The lounge is small so you limited on seating. Other than the aforementioned, the bartender was very pleasant and courteous.

Was thinkin’ ’bout my time on the coast… so many of my favorite spots on the beach are now gone. So glad Sweet’s remains! You just can’t make this stuff up! You can’t duplicate Sweets, because it just wouldn’t be the same! Hands down, the warmth and friendliness of the locals made me fall in love with this place and the coast as a whole. Haven’t been to the coast since before Katrina, I pray the southern hospitality is still alive and well! This is my favorite bar of all time, anywhere, anytime, anyplace and it’s all because of the staff and regulars. 🙂 Definitely legendary! (P.S. Pro-tip: if you don’t enjoy the company of strangers and the vibe of honest-to-goodness people & dive-bars then spend ur dollarz at one of the many casinos)
