Super fun place to grab a bite for breakfast or lunch. A lot on the menu, and go hungry. The food is not cheap but everything was good quality and fresh . Service was excellent too

Our new favorite breakfast experience. Fantastic food. Epic service and make sure you don’t pass on the cinnamon rolls. Best you’ve ever had. No joke. Hometown favorite feel inside.

This is a great local place, mostly for breakfast! We have been here a handful of times and we’re never disappointed. The loaded hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and french toast are all good. The La Conner Benedict was very tasty as well. The decor is full of funny, positive sayings and the morning staff is very friendly and positive. They were sporting bunny ears and having a great time with all of the clientele. Great morning!

Super cute little restaurant pumping out some absolutely delicious food!! I had a chocolate malt milkshake that was the best milkshake I have had in a very long time. The oatmeal & hash browns were perfect also. My fiancée was very pleased with his eggs Benedict & cleaned his plate. We got muffins to go for breakfast tomorrow. Definitely worth checking out!!

So far I’ve only had the Corned Beef Hash here. It was very good, also the coffee was great.
Staff was super friendly, checked in regularly and seemed interested in my thoughts and feelings on the food.
I mentioned I would have gotten it with mushrooms but wanted to try it as the chef intended which she appreciated and said they would pretty much do anything requested as long as they had the ingredients.
I would have tried the sliders but the breakfast ones didn’t appeal to me and I prefer breakfast items at 7am.
They brought me an entire tray of hot sauces.
Nearly everything on the menu looks great… I can’t wait to return. So many choices out there but this one has made it to the top of my “gotta return soon” list.
Update, I tried the Swiss mushroom, bacon blue cheese, and traditional sliders, with loaded fries. It was too much food for me; however, everything tasted very good. The cheese one the fries could have been melted a bit more but overall very happy.

Great spot for breakfast or brunch. We had the bacon cheeseburger and the eggs Bennie. The burger was very tasty and recommend. The fries were not great so I’d opt for their salad or slaw. The eggs Bennie was pretty good. Eggs cooked perfectly and the hash browns were ok (shredded but I prefer potatoes chunks). Small critique I have for the hollandaise sauce is to have more lemon flavour. Other than that I would recommend. Service was phenomenal.

A cozy little breakfast café in La Conner!
They serve all-day breakfast — and it’s totally worth it because everything was delicious! Even the toast was amazing — like, how can toast be that good?
The service was super friendly, and the crispy hash browns were spot on.
I tried the fried chicken-style beef steak — it was unique and surprisingly tasty! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in town.

Reviewing the new Retro Diner. Been here twice now and love the super friendly, eclectic vibe here. The bacon is delightful and the coffee is very good, I had the scramble “your way” it was generous and made with fresh ingredients. Seems like everyone is enjoying the turned up music and feeling good!

This is one of the best restaurants in La Conner. Everytime I come here I am amazed with how tasty the food is and how friendly the service. They always go above and beyond with their holiday decorations! If you are into pac man they have a free game on the wall, so you can try to beat the highscore while you wait for your food to come. They have a super cute retro (working!) payphone near their counter. The chicken bites are to DIE FOR, and their retro eggs benedict has some fancy European bacon from the shoulder of the pig that somehow is the best parts of regular and canadian bacon, not greasy but plenty of meat. Im not vegetarian but they have options on the menu. Speaking of the menu it is a little difficult to read, but fits in perfectly with the retro style and you really can’t go wrong. So just put your finger down on the page and eat whatever it lands on! Or ask the waitress for a recommendation
If you like your coffee cup always full, friendly faces, breakfast, lunch and a emotionally calm, but visually stimulating environment, come to the retro café!
