I ordered to go. I got the General Tso Chicken, a Taro Tea and the Chicken Fried Rice. The General Tso Chicken breading was super mushy, there was no crisp to it. The flavor was ok. The Taro Tea had good flavor to it. The Chicken Fried Rice was ok, the soy sauce made it better. The portion sizes for both dishes were good. When you walk into the restaurant it smells like skunk cabbage, super weird.

I got Beef Yakisoba, Veggie Yakisoba, Miso soup, and a Bubble Tea. The veggies in both the Yakisoba tasted like they were starting to rot and the few pieces that didn’t, had no flavor to them. Every piece of Beef in the Yakisoba was over half gristle and very chewy like bubblegum, and most pieces tasted like blood. None of the beef seemed like it was marinaded or seasoned. It’s hard to mess up Miso Soup, but you can definitely tell it wasn’t made in house, just a super salty concentrate that wasn’t diluted enough. The bubble tea was okay, but the tapioca pearls were frozen and sticking together, so it was difficult to enjoy the tea by drinking it through a straw. I ended up wasting my money here and tossed half of my meal.

Every ceiling tile in the restaurant was sagging with water damage or rings around them, likely black mold. The staff was cold, disconnected, and avoidant. They prioritized take out orders over dine in orders and didn’t even acknowledge other people walking in after us. For being a Japanese restaurant, they do not adhere to Japanese cultural standards of cleanliness, hospitality, or delicious food. I won’t waste my money here again.

I have never been here before and walked in the door and wasn’t sure if I should wait to be seated or walk in and seat my self. I was a little confused on what I should do because it’s a nice place. I eventually figured out to walk up to the counter as I noticed they had an overhang menu above the registers.

Chicken was a little tough but had great flavor. Rice was on point.

Very generous serving on food for lunch. My mom and I stopped by for a quick bite. Absolutely delicious food. The person taking our order was nice. It was our first time. You check the menu out in the front then go to cashier when you’re ready to order.

I’ve dined in and taken out, and Souru never disappoints me!! I order their udon, teriyaki, and delicious chicken udon soup! They also have a nice off-the-menu option for a chicken lettuce wrap. Options are balanced, tasty, and have great variety. The staff is very nice and service is quick! I always tip extra here and still spend under 20$.

While the pork fried rice and the volcano sushi were outstanding, the beef in the Mongolian tasted a bit like it had been prepared with liver. I do like liver and onions, but not in my Mongolian so much. The dining room was very clean, but void of people. There was a constant stream for takeout.

Wow! No free miso soup inside now charge $2 extra. They used to do that free be to ne nice inside for dining only not for takeout. Because takeout customers just asked if comes with takeout they now got upset and they discontinued it! That’s not nice of them if someone just asked. Never recommend
