Welcome to our kitchen! Two chefs and a foodie set out to change the way people eat for the better. Our inspiration? The meals we had when our friends came over. The food. The pairings. The exploration. The energy. And the promise that on any given day we’d eat or drink something we wouldn’t find anywhere else. So we opened Tender Greens in 2006 and started a food revolution. We start with the best ingredients, cook from the heart and let our food do the talking. No compromises, no matter what. Sustainability is at the core of all the choices we make, from our food to our planet to the future of farming. It’s in our DNA. After all, we’re chefs.

The whole vibe of the restaurant is healthy and pretty but the food is unhealthy, the chicken and salmon come out BURNT and the portion is TINY!
See photos, wont be coming here twice!
However I waited about 40 minutes for my food. I had to go up and ask someone about my order because I saw people who came in long after me getting their orders and there’s nothing more annoying than that while you are hungry. Once they realized that they lost my order in the kitchen they put it together with in 5 minutes and gave me a free drink. But unfortunately I can’t get my time back.
We ordered a salmon bowl and a sandwich plate (each ~18 usd), the service was fast and polite. We sat inside by the window. The table was not particularly clean: no dirty dishes, but some oily stains and bread crumbs; not the end of the world though.
The food arrived soon. The food was served on real plates which is always a bonus in my eyes. The salmon bowl was perfect: very tasty, I loved the combination of various vegetables in the salad; however, everything felt a bit too oily. The sandwich was fine but also oily and a bit empty: at least a couple of leaves of salad could be added inside or on the plate. The plate overall looked quite empty and “unfinished” to me, besides the potatoes didn’t look and taste very fresh. Taking into account that the bowl and the sandwich were of the same price, in my opinion, the bowl is way more worth the money.
Overall, it was a positive experience, this place can definitely be recommended.
