My first visit to Hop Lore did not disappoint! The brisket nachos were amazing. The only thing lacking was my ability to consume them in a timely manner. My husband ordered the brisket burrito, which included Mac & cheese in the roll – the quintessential burger n comfort food! The Cinnamon Sanctions was a pleasant surprise. (So often stouts land flat, but this did not!) The smoothie sours are on par with Drekker. IYKYK. We finished out with a Tiramisu that was perfect-all the good sweetness cut with a generous sprinkle of cocoa. It’s not fancy. The limited number of TV screens keeps the atmosphere on the quiet side. The collection of board games speaks “Stay awhile longer.” If you’re looking for good food, great beer, and a place to feel welcome for a bit, check out Hop Lore!!!

I stopped by HopLore on my way through the Indiana countryside, and it made a good stop. I got a snack and a flight of beers, and I got to watch some movies while enjoying them. The staff was friendly enough, and it was a fairly quiet time. The smoothie sour beers were amazing, and hardly present as beers. Continental Split was probably my favorite, but the mango lassi sour was also excellent. I tried their fish dip as a snack, and it was tasty. Everything was just as I would’ve hoped for, and I wouldn’t hesitate to drop by again.

Great beer! The food was excellent. Everyone had a friendly demeanor. Wife LOVED the smoked fish spread, and (use to) hate it. Brisket Nachos could easily feed four! Good value for what we paid. Definitely would go back.

Stopped in for a date night with my wife. Ordered drinks from Justin who was freaking awesome. I got the brisket nachos and she got the brisket quesadilla and it was fast and amazing. It was our first time at HopLore and we will be back to try more!

Ordered bbq sampler and it couldn’t have been a bigger disappointment. The brisket was luke warm as was the pork. But the worst was that the turkey was bad. It had a sour taste that was noticeable as soon as you took a bite. Do a better job please, someone can get very ill. Total waste of money

Very cool place with an awesome atmosphere. Great spot to relax, hang out, and enjoy yourself. The food is solid, the brews are excellent, and the overall vibe makes you want to stay awhile. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a good place to grab a drink, eat, and unwind.

Put on your website you got bottles to go of Amish Krack when you do not. Just a ploy to get people in. Not good business drove down and was told only doing pre orders a week or two after release!? That’s crazy. Should I have called I guess so least that’s what the bartender said. Clearly don’t care about being good to their customers. I see you updated your site now wish that had been done sooner. Again I checked the site before I left clearly said bottles to go but glad to see that’s been removed now. Also if you had pre-sales that would mean you know what you need to reserve and what you can sell. But you hold all of it for 30 days!? Yeah that makes sense. All good moving on and won’t be back. Was just trying to surprise someone that lived that beer and was unable to.

I found this brewery at a beer festival a couple of years ago. The beer was very good and I remembered the logo. We were staying in the area and stopped in to this place. It is definitely a staple in the community

Stopped for some frosty adult beverages on our adventure out on our holiday weekend. My husband and I ordered a flight and honestly were blown away! Coming from the city of Chicago where there is an assortment of breweries within walking distance, I have not been this impressed with beers in a while. Every single beer we tried of the 5 was an absolute hit! We tried 4 smoothie sours/sours and a barrel aged pastry stout and we both loved every single one. Bought whatever was available to go home and enjoy later. The brewer, Stephen, was serving us and you can tell that he loves what he does. A great stop with a laid back vibe and amazing beverages. We have also stopped here for food in the past which was also top notch. Keep it up!
