Attended a cousin’s surprise birthday party. There was around 30 people attending. Our waiter and waitress were on the ball with drinks. Pizza buffet was set up for our group and the pizza was hot and delicious.

I ordered a chicken salad as part of delivery. It took longer than promised. Pizza was cold, and there was no grilled chicken. The store must have known I didn’t get the chicken, but they didn’t send driver back. It was just at closing, and they would not answer their phone.
I called many times to get their attention and prove they did not give what I paid for. One time, a guy said, “Bearnos Pizza, we’re closed” and hung up immediately. Hope they will take care of this the next day. It was basically a veggie salad when I paid much more. I had given a $10 tip for a $35 delivery. Guess they cared more about getting out of there than giving what the customer paid for.

As a New Yorker, the pizza is pretty on par. The Mama Light is just right, and initially, I thought the sauce needed more tartness but with the olives being there it really balanced the cheese and meats. Awesome service and pretty chill.

Bearnos Westport: I ordered a pizza about an hour ago and it was delivered quickly but I received the wrong pizza. Normally not a huge deal but we ordered a veggie pizza and do not consume pork (we received pepperoni and sausage). When calling back, someone answered the phone and said “thanks for calling Bearnos, we’re closed” and hung up on me. This is 25 min before closing. I called back several times only for them to pick up and hang up on me. I am in absolute shock. This is so rude and we will never be dining with Bearnos again.
Update: I finally got through to the manager and expressed how this is bad customer service. He then said “you’ve ordered from us before and had good service before, so don’t say it’s bad customer service”. WHAT? This guy cannot be serious. That’s like running over someone’s dog and talking about all the times you never ran over a dog. Take responsibility! I cannot make this up…He is fully refunding the order but I can’t believe the lack of accountability for the situation. Absolutely shocking. This has SO little to do with the order being messed up and everything to do with how the situation was handled. What a joke.

I ordered pizza for pick-up on 08/21 to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. The 16 inch pizza with two toppings was fine. However, the veggie speciality pizza that I ordered was actually awful. The crust was soggy, it was underbaked, and it was impossible to pick up and eat. I’m not sure if there was just way too much liquid from the veg? But, I order veggie pizzas frequently from many pizza places and this was so bad that I didn’t eat it. Very disappointed because I typically like Bearno’s a lot.
