Cool place to go have a drink and a pizza. As soon as I walked in a local guy bought me a drink. Then 30 minutes later another local guy bought me a drink. All the people were extremely nice and good to talk to. Bartender was awesome and great service. On Google it said they offered different kinds of food, but it was only pizza. I wanted wings, but settled for the pizza which was good. Awesome place, I will definitely go there again if I ever come back to Milwaukee.

Staying in a hotel near the airport and looking for a place to eat I’m glad I found Landmark 1850 Inn!

Walking in I was warmly greeted (both by the bartenders and patrons I posted up next to).

Started off with a rail old fashioned that tasted great. Followed it up with a fried shrimp basket and a glass of Ayinger Celebrator – both were great choices.

Definitely going to make this place a stop anytime I’m in the area!

First cheese curds & Spotted Cow in Wisconsin this trip. Loved the deep fried mushrooms and Belgian Trappist Monk Chimay Beer too. So happy to see them reopen. They’ve made some excellent improvements but kept this beloved historic establishment authentic and original. Be sure to check out the gorgeous tin ceiling in the bar. We’re at the historic, oldest tavern in Milwaukee, the Landmark 1850 Inn is less than 5 minutes from the airport and across the street from our Hilton Garden Inn.

Probably the OLDEST tavern in Milwaukee. Incredible blend of old style and new finish. Amazing food (take from the foodie). Their pizza is equally good (if not more) compare to major itilain authentic places in New York. I personally know a bunch of places that advertise themself as “best of the best”, but not evel close to these guys. Great cocktails, very wide selection of draft and bottled beer. And most important – ATMOTHPHERE. You should meet the owners! Mosts amazing people!

The oldest bar in Milwaukee! Lots of original fixtures including 3 registers, the copper ceiling, and a large pot belly stove. But the best part is all of the original wood! Even the old window used by the cowboys to order is still there!

Aside from that, the food offerings are solid, yet simple and include unique burgers and other staples. Crystal was our server and she did a great job, even letting me know they have Chimay Blue on tap, which is not that common. Plenty of TVs for sports at their lengthy bar. I am sure we will be back as they are close to the airport, and I travel quite a bit these days.

We were on a short staycation and before returning to hotel stopped in for a nightcap as the building looked interesting from the outside.

What we found on the inside was amazing!

Very friendly staff, particularly the owner Joel, who was more than happy to give us the history of the building and surrounding area.

Good drinks, GREAT atmosphere.

We can’t wait to return to try the food.

If you’re anywhere near the Milwaukee airport and have some time, stop in you won’t be disappointed.

Very cool old tavern, so many different beers on tap! The atmosphere of this place is awesome and if you also happen to be there on a nice day there’s a great outdoor patio you can watch planes takeoff and land from too! They also hand make daily food specials however I didn’t get the chance to have a bite.

10/10—no notes! As the oldest bar/tavern in Milwaukee, this place is an absolute gem. I tried Spotted Cow beer for the first time, and WOW, it was delicious! The cheese curds had the perfect cheese pull you’d expect when visiting Wisconsin. Selena, the bartender, was an absolute delight—she made us feel like locals every night. Give that girl a RAISE!

These old historic taverns are so amazing. If you have a few minutes to kill before you go to the airport, I would definitely check this place out. Beautiful bar, extremely friendly, bartender, incredible woodwork, and a great beer and liquor selection

I stopped in for a few beers. The place was very clean and the beer was good and cold for a great price. The owners are great people. Thanks Linda and Joel for a great experience.
