Ordered takeout from here yesterday and am not very happy with the food. The egg foo young from other places usually have sauce on the side, this didn’t. The dumplings had very little meat in it and hardly any vegetables. Also the Kungpao shrimp I ordered had 10 small/medium shrimp and a llittle tiny bit of peanuts, green peppers and carrots. The rest of it is Celery! See picture, celery for 90% of the dish!

Prices raised again and are definitely too high for a counter carryout in aweful Montgomery Village. $15 for noodle dishes is ridiculous. And the portion is getting smaller! Further, I don’t consider this area safe at night since it’s next door to the marijuana dispensary. I try to bring someone with me if I have to pick up food at night. Also, BEWARE EXTRA CHARGE FOR ORDERING ONLINE! I don’t understand why if you order online they charge you extra! How ridiculous. You’re saving their company time by automating their ordering and not having someone answer the telephone. This is wrong.
Re Food: Yes, the food is pretty good. The restaurant is clean, friendly efficient staff, only complaint about the food is that many of their dishes have too much sauce and some of the sauces are a little too thick and pasty. But in general, the food is ok.
I hope this restaurant rethinks their pricing for some dishes and lowers the prices. They also don’t answer the phone sometimes which forces customers to order in online and have to pay a surcharge!

I ordered about $60 of food on Saturday. Got home and start eating and found what looks like pubic hairs on my fries. I called back like how can these type of hairs end up in my food. Like somebody had to do this on purpose. The lady said sorry and to come back and they will make a new order. If you just put pubes in my fries why would I want another order. I want to know who put that in my food first and foremost and let me have a conversation with them. She said sorry again then hung up on me. It’s ok because I used to love this place but this does not sit right with me and I will make sure the county knows.

The shrimp with broccli is really good, no need to add soy sauce at all! I always get it a lil spicy, it gives it a kick! The wings are really good too and not all hormone injected looking! ! They just need to make their mumbo sauce a lil thicker and flavorful, its a bit watery! Overall their food is on point! The fried rice is good as well!

Update
They musta read this because the sauce is thicker and a lil more flavor was added! ❤️ Price is always on point pretty much what I expected not too high!

Pretty good and the portions are extremely satisfying. Usually Chinese restaurants around here are pretty overpriced for meh food. I like the wings here as well as the noodles. Mei fun is my favorite. Had a guest who had just discovered Singapore noodles so I had to surprise them with this huge portion. Three large dishes + some fortune cookies (a bit odd that you have to pay for them, but worth it for a nickel each anyways) and a little chili oil for $35 is well worth it. Rarely can you feed 3 people for this price or lower at a restaurant these days.

I ordered orange chicken today with fried rice and I’m very displeased with the taste and texture of the chicken. I had orange chicken in many places but never this bad, fried rice wasn’t good either. I would not recommend this place for main courses, the only saving grace for my lunch today was the egg rolls, at least not hey didn’t ruin that.

All time favorite chinese takeout spot! 10-15 average wait. Would recommend the Wings and egg foo young! The lo mein is a staple!! I brought it to a gathering once and everyone mentioned how good it was compared to others.

Love this place. We come here often.
I believe they have new chefs because the quality of the food has changed over the past few months.

I’m from NYC and I finally, finally, finally found a respectable Chinese spot that reminds me of home. They put so much food in my box that it needed a rubber band around it. Great taste also. All for a more than respectable price.
