This Stromboli was AMAZING !!! The best ! I opted for meatball instead of pepperoni by choice and it was 10/10. The salad was 10/10. The service was good and prompt. The owner helped the staff. Just excellent. I can’t recommend this place enough. Close enough to Maggie valley ! We will be back. We even asked to speak to the owner to tell him how good we felt this Stromboli was cooked from the sauce, the topping, the crust and the dough.

We ordered garlic knots as an appetizer and they were gigantic and delicious! My husband ordered chicken parm which was a large portion and he said it ranked up high on his list for this dish. I ordered a pizza. It is as good as anything we have ordered in NY and Chicago! We ordered baklava to go. It was delicious as well!!! Our server was a very sweet and knowledgeable young lady with a quick smile and wit to match! She checked on us frequently. The owner was on premises so we thanked him for a great meal. We will def return for another meal and bring some friends along!

Best Italian restaurant around ! Authentic. The Florentine Ravioli and Chicken Marsala were delicious. The Lamb shanks are amazing. You cant go wrong with the fetticini. Decent selection of vegetarian options. Good service . Good wine. This spot is worth trying !

Their pizza will make you mentally teleport to the HEAVEN where pizza is made! The fresh made dough, outstanding with the fire bake! Fresh made sauce with the fresh mozzarella… And just saying, it was absolutely amazing to eat a pizza NOT soaked in grease. I have tried every pizza in Haywood Co. and nothing compares. Oh, and anyone who might be concerned about the pricing you shouldn’t. Their 14” (small) pizza is the size of a chain restaurant’s medium. And their 18” (large) is huge! We have ordered an “extra large” from a chain and it wasn’t as big as this pizza. And it’s extra great that you will even want to consume the crust of Vale’s.
My only regret is that I work right across the street at the soap company and I have not eaten there sooner! PS, they have a 2 slice of pizza w/ a drink for $12 (before 3pm). New favorite lunch spot!

Excellent food and many vegetarian options for those looking . Excellent service, atmosphere at both the old Clyde location and the new hazelwood location. The new locations atmosphere elevates the experience and with all the same amazing people. Food is genuine and as authentic as you can get especially in WNC. I recommend you try their ravioli and their Stromboli. The portions are large and the prices are more than fair in contrast. Support this local restaurant! ♥️

Probably the best Italian eatery I’ve been too in a long time, our server was excellent and very friendly and the owner came out to check if we were enjoying the food. All the entrees were large portions and tasty…I look forward to visiting here again!

I got an Italian sub tonight. It seemed like the bread and the rest of the sandwich was submerged underwater for a long time. The meat was chewy and the pepperoni tasted like a half pound of salty bacon bits. I know fries do not travel well, but I think they were under water with the bread. Maybe I should have ate the sandwich there, but it shouldn’t have been soaked when I got it home. I have had many Italian sandwiches in my day, this might be the worst. Hopefully the rest of the menu is better.
