Ordered through the door dash app, I ordered a chicken sandwich, potato wedges, and mac&cheese. Potato wedges and mac&cheese were good! The chicken sandwich was HORRIBLE the chicken was rubbery the crust was hard as a rock it tasted like a piece of chicken that sat in a warmer for over 5 hours

Ordered a 16-piece in the drive thru and several customers were waited on. Their food was brought out to them. We waited for 45min. There was no offer of a refund or a discount just a sorry apology. The manger said he had to light a fire under the cook beige was taking his time. That is ridiculous!! customer service was terrible. They could have at least offered us something while we waited. The guy came out to the car twice and we had to show our receipt. Then my husband and I had to go in and follow up twice. Make it make sense. I am writing corporate! They have to do better!!!!

I visited the KFC location on Rt 59, Plainfield, IL on 11/14/2025 at 5:14pm. The location was busy and the employees did not look organized. After I placed my order, a customer received her order and immediately started voicing her concern on the rudeness of the staff. I did not understand the reason for her anger but it didn’t take long to figure it out. I waited with other customers in the restaurant and noticed the drive thru was moving at a good pace. However, those waiting in-store were still waiting and not being tended in the same manner. I waited patiently since I knew they were busy. After about 15 minutes, I started noticing that customers that came after me were being given their order before me. I asked the cashier and he said my order was being worked on. I waited another 5 minutes with no change in the behavior. My order was no where to be found. I went back to the cashier and asked for my money back. An older lady employee apologized and said she would get me my order after she looked at my receipt. At this point, I just wanted to go home after a long day and did not want to wait another minute. I said thank you but I would just prefer my money back. The manager refunded my credit card but showed no empathy nor did he apologize for the wait. He had a mean look on his face as if I was at fault for inconveniencing him. I asked him for a copy of the refund and he said he couldn’t provide it but that it would show refunded on my statement. I said I needed proof for my records but he said he couldn’t provide a copy. I asked if he had a copy machine in the office so he could provide me a copy of the refund. He said he didn’t have a copy machine. Finally I asked if I could take a picture and he placed the receipt on the counter and snatched it back after 30 seconds. He walked away and didn’t say another word. I was tired but not rude in my interaction. As I left, an older gentleman received his order and told the employee that it seems the employees were more worried about the drive thru than they were about those waiting in-store. I understand the restaurant business and dealing with the public can be hard at times but as a manager, he needs to understand that it’s our business that keeps you in business. There are plenty of other options that recently opened in the area. I believe he needs to be re-trained in working with the public. Especially how to de-escalate situations and provide better service.

I’m writing this not because of one bad night, but because of a systemic lack of quality control that has become the standard at this location.
More often than not, the employees fail to double-check orders before they go out the door. It has reached a point where I expect to get home, to find an item is missing, and have to drive back to the store. Errors happen, but when it becomes a part of regular routine, it’s no longer a mistake—it’s a failure in management.
To my fellow customers: When they inevitably mess up your order, do not just take the missing item. Demand that they remake the entire order. Since they cannot legally or safely resell food that has already left the building, remaking the whole meal forces the store to account for that loss. If management starts seeing their shrinkage and food waste spike every single shift, they will finally be forced to prioritize proper training and basic quality checks.

I went in there to return my bad chicken little the one on Larkin it was a hard bite to chew plus I didn’t get no recipt last night so manager lady didn’t want to do it for some reason but I got girl w semi pink hair she batted her eyes at me cause of a speech impediment she did the return but shouldn’t make fun of me and one time it was drive thru girl black girl made me cry before or it was inside I get upset when people make fun of it. Manager asked me y im upset I said two of ur people had made fun of me in here.other day they was nice to me I was storming mad threw away the old bag today I said I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO PUT UP W IT!!!!!!!!! This has to be one of the shittiest KFCs I have visited. The attending team seems to be so overwhelmed with the work that they just dont know who has ordered when and where. Took ages to take order first (as they were busy attending to drive through folks) and post taking order, completely forgot to first even look for it and then forgot to hand over the order. I could evidently see people placing larger orders after me over the counter and getting their stuff. Pathetic service

The fries were lukewarm and tasteless; the chicken pot pie ordered was not cooked through well. After consuming these foods, I was in the restroom all night and had to flush out my GI system to remove the consumed waste so that I would not get sick to the point of needing to go to a doctor. The foods at KFC restaurants are not as good as they used to be. It is not recommended that food be ordered from this particular KFC location. The people who work there do not care about serving quality foods.

I tried the app to order. I got there a little early but I got my food on time. Mash potatoes are amazing. The temperature of food was just right. Biscuit a little hard but mashed potatoes help with that. Tasty chicken. Lemonade was good. Good value for meal. I would recommend. Be careful of traffic around the building. Had close calls with 3 different cars.

I ordered a family bucket plus two extra Breasts. The order had no breasts at all.
Two legs, two wings and the rest were thighs. This was the second time that I have ordered from this location and the order was not correct. I gave food two Stars due to the fact that I did not receive what I was expecting.
If I lived closer I would have returned the order.

40 mins to get a 6 piece family meal. Had my three kids with me, including a newborn, so I couldn’t just go inside. Unfortunately we waited it out, but we won’t be coming back.
