We accidentally discovered this restaurant while looking for a quick dinner on a Sunday evening, and it turned out to be an amazing culinary experience. The service was excellent—especially impressive considering it’s a new venture and the team is clearly putting in their best effort. The food was of great quality with beautiful presentation. We tried a few starters and main courses, and every dish was delicious. Highly recommended!

Had a really nice experience here! The food was authentic and comforting. The Malabar Chicken Biriyani was definitely my favorite – the flavors were rich and aromatic.

Had a wonderful experience at Der Deccan! The Masala Dosa was absolutely superb ,perfectly crisp with flavorful potato filling. The Veg Thali tasted authentic and delicious, with a great balance of curries, dal, and sides that really reminded me of home-style cooking. The overall ambience was warm and pleasant, making it a perfect spot to enjoy authentic Indian food in Germany. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a true taste of India!

Visited with family. We tried South Indian thali, non veg thali, masala dosa, mango lassi, masala chai, kesari and gulab jamun. We loved all of them and will be back for more.

That was an amazing South Indian cuisine experience . I never expected this. Dosa and Chutney was great and the Malabar Biryani was incredibly delicious. This is the second time I ate Malabar Biryani from Der Deccan, and this time the taste was something different but, that was incredibly priceless. The food was good but it wasn’t hot enough. The food was not even warm. The sambhar was delicious but I would have loved it to be hot or warm atleast. We had to wait quite a long time to place an order. They gave us two mango lassis as an apology for the delay but it was like a sugar syrup. It did not have any taste of mango.
Another point (not related to the food): The entrance to the restaurant was very slippery. They had only placed a warning board next to it and did not bother to clean it even a bit.

We went there with a group of 5 people. The ambience people and food was really relaxing. It’s a great place to spend time with friends especially to refresh our minds with indian flavours. The food felt like home. We recommend Mango Lassi, porotta and tandoori chicken and masala dosa. We also tried the lamb vindaloo which was really tasty with a little spice. We feel it’s the closest indian food you can get here in Germany. Do check out their dishes.
