Very nice and unique inside! The food was absolutely delicious cheese sticks were prepared very well, the mahi blackened bites were extremely delicious I’m talking about they were phenomenal juicy inside extremely impressed with this and the The layout was perfect. The lettuce wraps were really really good. Definitely very happy. The barmaid was very polite and she had no problem explaining my questions that I had about the food. ❤️

First time being here at Krakatoa Tropic Food and Spirits. The menu for a small bar was of excellence!! Bella, The Bartender whom waited on us was helpful, friendly, on top of her A game. Bella ensured all was correct and kept the sodas full, checked to see what thoughts were on the burgers . Bella is quirky and quick, and her customer service is absolutely out of this world. We definitely need more like her in customer relations. Makes going places much better and attitude and smiles are also what we need more of.
The Krakotoa Burger was a grand slam. It was cooked to perfection, perfect tenderness, and finish. The barbecue, which I’m not a big fan of, barbecue sauces, but there’s is definitely 100% delicious, right taste and perfect amount of sweetness! I had the choice of loaded fries, tater tots, regular fries, onion rings , and other options. I chose the onion rings. Seasoned and fried to perfection, absolutely spot on. I had seen a fella eating the loaded fries when we arrived, I asked him what it was he was eating. He explained it, and basically, it’s a nice big pile of heart attack that looked amazing, and I’m sure they are. The French fries are excellent as well!!
Overall, for 1st time being here, I definitely will be back to try the canovore burger and some loaded fries on the next round. If you are in the mood for some good burgers and fried food, stop in and grab a bite. Definitely have good beer and wine prices as well from the looks of it and considering I’m going on nine years of sobriety this year.

This was our first time here, had to use the restroom when we arrived , went to the woman’s restroom and it was filled with gnats we didn’t even want to open our mouths to say anything g they were surrounding the stalls and it was horrible…everywhere and there was a horrible smell right outside the restrooms , we stood at the bar for about 15 mins until we were able to order and get our drinks . The bar tender was very kind but her shirt straps were falling down and her butt crack was out the whole time …. Very unprofessional and unsanitary.was just a horrible place to go for first timers. The draft beer was not up to par either . Think it’s also very strange that there is a window in the men’s restroom looking out to the main area that you can see in and out of. Was also reading reviews and the owner only looks at the bad ones and tells them they are all wrong and telling people to not come back

Fantastic experience! The food was phenomenal AND affordable, it was all freshly made to order. The service was great, the drinks were great, best experience I’ve ever had in Boardman. We went new year’s eve and even though it was INSANELY busy we had barely any wait at all for drinks. The bartenders were super friendly and made great recommendations. I can’t wait to go back! Date night was a success.

Very chill environment. The bartender worked all the food and drinks orders for the whole place but didn’t seem too busy for anyone. It was Sunday before Labor Day and there was a fantasy football draft going. My food was terrific!
