unable to get anyone to come take our order or give us menus. they gave us silverware after 10 minutes of sitting there, but then didn’t come back. we ended up walking out because our server kept going to check on other tables who already had their food and then she would go back into the kitchen. we sat there for over 20 minutes waiting for menus or drinks. If servers cannot handle the amount of tables coming in, don’t seat anymore or hire more servers. this is the second time we have gone there and left after sitting there for 20+ minutes with no service other than silverware. we will not be back.

I have been going to thus establishment for years. Never had a bad experience and the food has always been great,until now. I went a couple weeks ago and was not impressed with the food or the portion size decrease . I was told they had new cooks. So I went back today hoping they just needed tine to settle in and it was even worse. My boyfriend had gotten his food a goid 10 min befor I did. So he either had to eat or let it get cold waiting for me. When I got my food it was atkeast half the portion it was suppose to be abd the scrambled eggs were over cooked and toast was burnt. Never again.

It will always be my favorite ma and pa restaurant!! The food is amazing and the stuff are super friendly and you can sit down and getting home cooked food for less than it cost to get breakfast at mcdonald’s.

My husband and I stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. We ordered. Service was fine. When my dish was brought out, it wasn’t what I wanted. It was supposed to be a hot sausage (link) sandwich. It was, instead, chopped sausage. I was told I could exchange it. I apologized and said I couldn’t eat it. I was told that was okay and ordered something else. I was not told I would be charged for the meal that I did not eat. When I went to leave, the sausage sandwich was on my bill even though I did not eat it. They told me I had to pay for it regardless. They didn’t even give it to me to take it home. That is very inconsiderate and poor service. We will not be back.

I would have left this on Facebook, but I don’t know if they have a page or not. So I’m posting this here. A group of us from church went to the Rusty Spoon today. We waited a while but that was because there was only one waitress named Donna. She was super busy. A lot of others waited a while also. I hope you see this Donna. You did such an amazing job today. We don’t know how you did it. You had a big smile on your face the whole time. The time we were there, from what I could see, nobody gave her an attitude. So I hope you see this. Donna, God bless you. I’m sure you’re wore out after all the running around there. But you did an awesome job
