Food was awesome – very fresh and well seasoned. The menu options were very seafood heavy, but I thought my chicken burrito bowl was excellent. Vibes were good, some of the high top chairs had surprisingly super comfortable back support but all seating options were either high tops or one of 2 booths. The bathroom in the hallway was a little odd, but not unclean. Overall, was great, certainly an elevated spin on classic mexican food – would go back if I was in the area!

This is going to be a bit of a mixed review. I’ll start off with the good. I got the Wet Burrito which had both chicken and shrimp and was covered in queso. My coworker had the Mole Enchiladas. Both items were delicious and large portions. The burrito would have benefit from more pico to cut the saltines of the queso. My two other coworkers got the Fire Burger which was rather unimpressive next to our other entrees. They reported that the fries were good but the burger was small and nothing about it was very “firey” per the name.

The non food picture I included was the “lunch special” that the very nice waitress specifically pointed out to us. It seemed like a good deal until I mentioned the chips and she said that chips actually were NOT included and that she “didn’t know who typed up the special but the owner said no chips and dip to be included”. She specifically drew our attention to that special, we wouldn’t have even noticed it otherwise, and none of us opted for the special since it didn’t seem like a good deal after you take away part of it. (Chips and salsa are $3 on the menu, not sure why it can’t be included in the meal deal). They should probably bite the cost and reprint the lunch special cards or cross off the incorrect portions in sharpie so the servers don’t have to awkwardly explain that…

Other than that service was very slow. We were waiting for one person in our party and ordered drinks. Those came relatively quickly. Our last person showed up and ordered a Dr Pepper which is on the drink list, and was told they don’t have it. He ordered coke instead and it took about as long as us getting our food to get his drink. About 30 minutes by this point. They were also out of Carne Asada which seemed odd on a Friday at lunch time (we were one of two tables in the whole restaurant). You’d think they’d want their popular items going into the weekend.

Overall the food was good (aside from the burgers. I’d suggest sticking to the Mexican fare) and the lunch menu prices were great (not the fake lunch special but the actual lunch page in the menu). The waitress was nice but the wait for food (not her fault), drinks, and extra napkins when we were one of two tables in the place was crazy. Our lunch took an hour and half. So if you are on a tight schedule I wouldn’t recommend.

Absolutely bummed with my food that was given to me. This is supposed to be birria nachos. The cheese isn’t melted and there was a sad 2 teaspoons of meat spread across a couple chips. Really had high hopes as birria is one of my favorite dishes. Needless to say I will never order food from here again. The cooks must not take their job providing customer satisfaction seriously. I will say the bar tender was nice and friendly but that’s all.

Amazing Food, Drinks and Service. All the bartenders, waiters and even the kitchen are very friendly and helpful. My favorite are the birria tacos and the Coco margarita. Moderate prices….
Definitely my new favorite spot

I’m glad I found this place just a short walk from the memorial bridge/park. It just opened less than a week ago and feels kind of like a secret spot since its partially a basement. Has some cute sidewalk windows that let in natural light and a cozy vibe charming vibe

I got the guac and carne asada. The guac that came with the entree was fine but, the fresh guacamole appetizer is the way to go. They tailored it to exactly how I like it, and served it in a traditional molcajete. The carne asada was also a standout since it was seasoned perfectly and full of flavor.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving quality Mexican food with great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu!

Really cute and clean inside. Staff was very kind and professional. I got the Steak Burrito Bowl with a side of their chips and salsa, it was delicious! They have a large menu. I was able to watch the football game, I sat at the bar, full bar! Theres several tvs and a really big screen. Seating excels, They have some large booths for a bigger party too. I recommend it here. Very well done.

Wow I was blown away with the service here. We sat at the bar as it was busier and Cindy the bartender was so pleasant. She gave us recommendations and brought the place to life. The food was far better than I was anticipating. I wasn’t looking for anything crazy but this place really exceeded and impressed me. A hidden gem in Rhode Island. The food was better priced than most and the drinks were also great. Highly recommend for a more affordable and great meal, will be back.

Wandering around Providence in search of dinner, we found this little gem. The staff welcomed us in and service was friendly and prompt. What we didn’t know was it was there first night open. The atmosphere was cozy. Music just the right volume.
