Great local coffee shop in Medford.
The place is small but cute, with a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your drink. The coffee, especially their specialty options, was very good. I had a latte and it is on par with other good coffee places like Nero and Blank Street. They will be expanding their menu and food offerings soon. I wish them good luck!

We walked in Saturday morning and there was a bit of a crowd. They were able to process the queue quickly and I was surprised by the amount of seating they provided given the size of the cafe. The egg sandwiches were delightful, and the lattes we got (matcha & a london fog) were just right too. We’ll definitely be frequenting!

In my never ending quest of finding good espresso when I travel, this place surprised me as I’ve been in this area before and knew there was nothing decent. El Localito, serving coffee from Veracruz, Mexico (the capital of Mexican coffee) hits the spot! I had a delicious Flat White and saw a beautiful cortado being served.
Update: Came back and got the cortado this time. This place is a must for coffee lovers!

So happy this coffee shop opened—and the coffee is actually GOOD! I ordered a small soy latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The latte was excellent; the medium roast beans were fresh, and they use the right kind of soy milk that doesn’t scald (a common but frustrating problem elsewhere). The sandwich was simple but satisfying: flavorful bacon and a perfectly toasted, crunchy croissant. Highly recommend!

Finally … so happy Localito opened! No pics cuz we ate everything up so quickly! Great coffee … Broadsheet roaster. The croissant is yummy … and the empanadas (squash, beef and chicken) with the sauces were so very delicious! This by is just for starters … more will come! Can’t wait!

I visited this new coffee shop and was impressed from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is modern, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The staff was excellent—friendly, fast, and really knowledgeable about their coffee.
I tried their house special latte, and it was amazing: creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I also grabbed a freshly baked croissant, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside… absolutely delicious.
Highly recommended.

Super excited to see Localito finally open & it did not disappoint. First, the coffee: it is smooth, perfectly balanced and if you get a hot latte, the milk will be perfectly frothed. You can tell they focus on quality here!!! My favorite is the pistachio latte – hot or iced- it is not overly sweet but has the earthy, nutty pistachio flavor I am always looking for in a pistachio latte. They make their pistachio flavoring in house so expect it to taste natural! Big + in my book because it has some pistachio bits in it.
Second, their pastries/empanadas: 10/10. I love that they warm them up ! The empanadas are perfectly seasoned and all three flavors (chicken, beef and squash blossom) are scrumptious. I’m so glad a coffee shop has more than your standard breakfast pastries!!!!
Everyone working there is super nice, warm, and eager to make your experience a 10/10. A must try!!!!!

Cute local cafe, but I’m surprised this place has such a high rating. The coffee was so bland (and not cheap), and they only had plastic takeout cups. Sadly disappointed.

So good! Very excited to have a new spot in the square that isn’t Dunkin’ or a bank. I grabbed an egg and cheese croissant and a vanilla latte. Both were delicious. My only wish is that they had a menu posted in the shop or online— they only opened yesterday so I’m sure this will change! This will definitely become a regular spot for me.
