I went out for Halloween. I walked to the back and i was just talking with some of my friends near the back patio bar. I saw two black gentlemen approach the bar in the back patio and ask the larger bartender girl for two tequila shots. She rang up the transaction and disappeared without the drinks.
When they asked for them, after waiting for 15 minutes, she gaslit them saying they took the shots right in front of her. This never happened because they were never poured. It was a busy night but from where these two gentlemen were standing, how they were patiently waiting and repeatedly asking.
You literally just could not miss them.
It wasn’t that it was busy and she forgot.
Her body language and overall aggressive, defensive tonality made it abundantly clear that she didn’t. I would say the added salt to the wound for those patrons is the cover fee. They collectively paid $40 ($20 per person) to get in and get ripped off.
Thank you Ned Peppers Bar for the harsh reminder to always pregame so I am myself am not a victim.

We usually have a decent time here. But this last weekend security was going around asking if people felt “safe” then pressuring for tips. “I seen you tipping the bartender where’s my tip.” While he waved cash in front of people. I find this very rude and uncomfortable. You have to pay a $5 fee to get in and security is gonna pressure people for more when drinks are $9 without tip? I noticed he also mostly approached men. Someone even said they already gave him a tip and he accused them of lying and pressured for more money.

I would never go to this club again. The security guard was extremely rude and made a big deal of me sitting on a stool That no one was using. I didn’t hear what he said at first and he rudely yelled. The seats are stacked up for a reason. It cost $0.00 to be kind to a person.

This bar is one of the worst places I’ve ever been to. The security staff are completely unprofessional and act in a very disturbing way. They will stare at you, and if they decide they don’t like you—even if you’ve done nothing wrong—they will throw you out. I’ve seen them get aggressive with people for no reason at all, to the point where it looked dangerous. This is not a safe place, and it’s definitely not somewhere I’d recommend to anyone. Whoever owns this place seriously needs to fix the way their security operates, because the way things are going, it’s only a matter of time before the authorities step in .

Ned-peppers is always a good time. Whether it’s packed or a slower night, the vibe is just right, great music, strong drinks and Emma always takes care of you. It’s one of those spots you can count on for fun no matter what night you go. Definitely one of my go-to bars.

Ally is a terrific bartender. She was serving on the patio Saturday night when I was there. Not only does she pay attention to everyone checking to see if they need anything but she is gorgeous while doing it.
