Now this place, hidden gem for sure. Biscuits and gravy i believe are homemade. Which made the food absolutely delicious. I truly enjoyed my meal. My friends also had great food which was the farmer’s scramble and tres leches French toast. The only dislike was the lobster deviled egg. Flavor was a little off, kinda bland but that’s the only hiccup. Waitress was great, environment very nice. The mimosas were also very worth the price. We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much!

The vibe here was so welcoming. As opposed to other places it just felt very chill. We ordered some cocktails at happy hour and got the chicken sliders and fish and chips. So very tasty. The chicken sliders were divine. French fries on point. Love all the foods made in house. Delicious.

Recommended by a friend for Brunch and was not disappointed with the food! They had an open seating, as long as the table was not reserved you can choose where to sit, but I was a little cold so I would bring a sweater next time.

Don’t sleep on the Cajun Fish N Grits! This dish was recommended by the waitress. I was a little worried because looking back at other reviews they all looked very different, but it was so flavorful! The fish wasn’t dry and the corn bread was pretty good too. The only thing I didn’t really like was the bacon on the side, but my friend said it was good to have since it was sweet to balance the salty Cajun flavor.
We also ordered the Biscuits N Gravy! We used the extra gravy with the biscuits and dipped the chicken in with every bite!

We went early evening on a random Wednesday. The chill, welcoming, relaxed yet nice atmosphere made for a good start. In time for happy hour, our cocktails—an old fashioned and whatever my friend got—were made as should be by the congenial, professional bartender. The poutine fries were better than expected. Gravy (not goupy) and the french-fried potatoes themselves actually had the lovely texture of real potatoes. Because they were. Very good.
Thankfully, the music volume was kept low (conversation, brain-freedom, yes, please) and the TV was showing old episodes of Bob Ross painting classes.
Very little in way of gluten-free food, just fyi. Good drinks, great atmosphere.

First time in Hawaii and glad we picked this place for brunch.

The fish was cooked perfectly and the potatoes seasoned just right. The egg was over cooked just a tad but still had enough yolk to fulfill me. (I subbed the fish and grits for fish and potatoes)

The wings buffalo sauce was savory and made us want more!

My boyfriends brunch burger was to die for – cooked medium rare and was perfection.

Deff would come back if we ever visit again. Thank yall for the lovely service. The waitress was knowledgeable and nice. I didn’t get her name sadly but she had colored eyes and kinda curly hair pulled up.

10/10

If you’re wanting some great drinks to go along with fantastic food selection, Smith and Kings is the place to go. We come to Smith and Kings through various times of the day, brunch is fantastic on the weekends. Breakfast Poutine and the Sausage and Biscuits along with Chicken Tenders are fantastic!

When we come in the evenings before a show, the Strawberry and Walnut Salad, Sliders are great to have.

The staff is always great. The owner is always working and running support for the staff. Great to see and chat with her.

Food is average good. Price is okay.
Menu has Pretty good choice. Not too crowded over the weekend breakfast.
Problem is no reservation.
And , It’s good to go with party of 3 or more. Otherwise they don’t let you take the tables (they want you to wait for counter space).
Another problem is to find a parking spot around
Yet. I am sure the dinner time or later hours will be better for gatherings!!

Michael does it all, bartends a mean craft cocktail, (we created together), takes your order and serves your meal with an infectious smile and Zen Hawaiian charm. Delicious food with a local hometown feel.
Try the Smokin Sunrise: Vida Mezcal, Lilikoi, Pineapple juice & Grenadine.

We came here visiting from out of town. It took us 30+ min to get our drinks. We thought we had enough time to participate in two drinks at least before happy hour ended but that wasn’t the case. Within the 30 plus min of waiting for our alcoholic drink we didn’t get a water before hand which would have been the best choice. We finally got our cocktails with an apology and a reason that didn’t make sense at all which was fine. The drinks didn’t taste like what the ingredients were at all. It was actually very nasty so we got something else. Our food took 1 hr to come out. Only for the fries within my guests entree to be burnt to a crisp. We looked at them in confusion not knowing if it was a local type of food but I then looked at the pictures on their google business page only to see their fries don’t look like that in any form and they were ok with giving us very burnt fries. I should have taken a picture of the food we received but we were just ready to leave from this disappointing experience. I wish y’all all the best and it’s unfortunate we were visiting from out of town and how dinner how to be spoiled but this experience.

My wife and I ended up at Smith and King’s because the restaurant we originally planned to go to was closed. To our pleasant surprise, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Smith and King’s. The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be back for the weekend brunch.
