I wish I knew about this place sooner! There should be a sign advertising their presence, but it definitely is hidden away among the offices. This is a wonderful little diner/cafe. Our waiter was Susan’s husband who was conversational, prompt, and attentive. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. The parking lot does say 30 min but we were in and out in that frame of time because of how efficient they were. I highly recommend Susan’s Kitchen. High quality food and customer service.

This place is amazing. Its a hidden cafe, only the people who works at the building knows about this place. How did i find out u ask? My bank is citibank and ive seen people walking in with a coffee cup so i asked if theres a cafe here. And ever since i found out, i have brunch, and lunch here or take out. Place is quiet, clean, i just love it.
Most places are noisy thats why i dont go back. But this place, i always go back everytime i have a chance. Every food here is amazingly delicious. Sometimes i have hard time deciding bc everything on the menu is so good. Susan and andrew is really nice.

Some days you just want comfort without leaving home, and today Susan’s Kitchen was exactly what I needed. I ordered delivery, and they went above and beyond with every detail. The chocolate chip cookie with walnuts is the kind of treat that instantly lifts your mood, and the omelettes were perfectly prepared and so delicious. Their thoughtfulness really shines through, and I’m so grateful for the warmth they put into their food.

What a hidden gem! From the service to the cleanliness to the food = 10 out of 10! It’s a very friendly atmosphere, the owners are superb. It was my first time but it definitely will not be my last. I ordered a wrap at the recommendation of Susan‘s husband (whose name is escaping me currently) but he did not steer me wrong. The food came out quickly and it was very fresh. Love, love love this place!

Was out at a Dr.s office in the area and needed to find a nice place to get some food. Found Susan’s Kitchen by accident after reviewing several other eateries in the area and not finding anything appealing. The location is in an office building on the second floor and is kind of off the usual path unless you know where to look for it. I recommend you take the time and go find it. The way things are done there is much different from most places you can eat at these days. The food is fresh, tasty and appealing to look at. The home fries I ordered were delicious and came on a plate that could have been on the cover of a gourmet dining magazine. They were seasoned perfectly and had some small pieces of onion and green and red pepper tossed in. All the food was like a throwback to coffee shops and lunchonetts from many years ago, when people still cared about the quality and prices of the food they served to the public. This was a great eating experience and I will return again when I am in the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone who expects to get good tasting, fresh quality food, good service and a reasonPpppppable price. The ownero himself served us and hell was very knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We left there pleasantly satisfied and was given a fresh homemade oatmeal cookie to take with us. Nobody does things like that anymore no matter where you go.

The menu at Susan’s Kitchen is full of flavor, and every dish I’ve tried has been fresh, hot, and made to order. The service is quick and friendly. If you’re looking for fast food that doesn’t taste like fast food, this is the place to go. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend it.

We had a marvelous first-time breakfast here yesterday and can’t stop talking about it. My parents were visiting from out of town (a rare weekday trip), so we took advantage of the Friday morning to finally check out Susan’s Kitchen — and wow, are we glad we did.
The food was fantastic — the French toast was among the best I’ve ever had, the coffee was excellent, and even our toddler (a notoriously picky eater) devoured the açaí bowl. But what really made the experience unforgettable was Andrew, Susan’s “better half” and co-owner. He might be the friendliest person I’ve ever met in Great Neck.
He made us feel like family — sharing photos of his granddaughter (who happens to share a name with our daughter!), swapping stories about Iceland when he heard about my parents’ upcoming trip, and even offering our toddler a free popsicle from the freezer. It was that rare kind of warmth and hospitality that you just don’t get many places anymore.
They’re open for both breakfast and lunch on weekdays, and the café is located on the second floor of the building. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it — but absolutely worth finding.

We are obsessed with this place. One of my coworker’s found it and it has been our go to for lunch. Food is always hot and fresh. Very tasty too. We had our office meeting there today and they were so accommodating. Excellent service. 10/10. Would recommend.

Found reviews and a tiktok video of Susan’s Kitchen. They called this place a hidden gem.
This place IS A HIDDEN GEM. Not only the food is delicious, everyone here was super friendly!
I ordered Turkey melt, TUNA MELT (!!!), Chicken Caesar wrap, Roast Beef wrap, grilled cheese, and Scrambled eggs for a small bday party. Everyone loved the food and many asked me where I ordered from.
Especially the Tuna melt. Which I ordered because Susan recommended it herself!
They also have amazing cookies!
Susan’s Kitchen is located in an office building, made it a little hard to find, in my opinion. My husband and I were confused whether or not we were allowed to park in the parking lot of the building.
5 star for the food and amazing service.
Highly recommended. Definitely coming back.
