Absolutely wonderful little spot. Been here twice now. The first time I ordered the chicken ginger stir fry, lots of flavor, good quality meat. The second time I ordered the Thai basil chicken fried rice with some steamed veggies. The fried rice had tons of flavor as well, and the steam veggies were a very good mix. Everyone is always very friendly and pleasant. And the restaurant is beautiful, clean and well decorated. It’s a little pricey with fried rice being $18, but it’s worth it. Definitely will be making this my regular spot when I’m in town for work.

Quiet, more of a locals place. Not crowded so you can have meaningful conversations. Presentation is always on point. Sushi is specially made to order , $10 rolls available.

We’re been coming to this restaurant for years but ever had the sushi unti last night. We like Japanese chef sushi, if you know I don’t have to explain. There’s only one sushi place in Orlando that we certain top grade. Forget about those places the look fancy but the sushi is low grade.
Last night we got 2 sushi rows as well as other items. Extremely surprised about the quality, freshness, and absolutely wonderful taste. It was also done in a unique way, and paired with amazing side topping items that complemented the sushi.
The Japanese sushi chef there has been doing this since he was 17 and now 75 he truly sets himself apart. What a surprise to find the best sushi we have had was here. Oh food was great as well lol as always.
Honestly, now if we’re feeling like sushi, we’re just come here. The wonderful decor with all the orchids is so wonderful. I’m so glad that over the years they never tried to go mainstream with the decor. It’s a great restaurant for all events, birthdays, romantic night, any occasion really.
Oh and our waitress was absolutely wonderful!!!!

Great food great service. The thing that bothers me is they added 20% gratuity for a party of three( which shocked me). I have added the photo of the check. Upon telling the server she went ahead and had it removed but may have cost herself some extra money because the service was excellent and the food was great. Just cannot get around the fact that they would add 20% to a party of three. Recommend the place but I believe tip should be the customers choice.

This restaurant checks ALL the boxes! Most importantly, the food tastes amazing and it’s all presented beautifully. I really liked the low lighting atmosphere and the attention to detail like the little lamps and oragami shaped napkins on each table. They also had this awesome labubu dressed in Thai clothes. Service was great (shoutout to Jan for being so friendly)

Food we ate:

Praram Chicken Curry: 10000/10!! I’ve never had it until I came here but it’s now my new favorite (even more than drunken noodle). It’s sweet, creamy, and nutty and it’s delicious with the chicken and rice. They also add a fried sweet potato which is really good. Level hot was really good mixed with the sweet

Drunken noodle: This is my favorite Thai dish and they do it right!! Very very good.

Tom Kha: Very yum. Usually I like it with a bit more coconut milk, this one was strong on the lemon grass but I still loved it.

Golden puffs: crab Rangoon’s can never go wrong and the plum sauce was tasty.

Sushi – Dynamite: Not the best but not definitely not the worst. I think I would try the shrimp tempura instead of salmon next time.

Phenomenal! Went after hearing that they were accommodating to food allergies and restrictions- and they were. Our server was wonderful and very informed on the menu. Great service, and all the food was delicious! If you like spicy, don’t be weary of the ‘Thai spicy’ it’s enjoyable. Went on a day the sushi bar was open, and it was so fresh and delightful. Great experience overall!

A wonderful warming and charming strip mall eatery. Thai food was amazing. We arrived to early for the sushi but I did include the menu photos. Warm Sake was just out of this world and food was made fresh, hot and spicy. Every appetizer was ample amounts for two and delicious new tastes abound. The atmosphere was pleasant yet not overly cheesy. The staff were courteous kind and absolutely top notch. Customers can expect to enjoy a quiet peaceful meal that satisfies the taste buds as well as is harmonious to the soul.

A nice cozy little place in a busy strip mall. Our server was very nice. Everyone at the table was vegetarian and she accommodated our requests and answered our questions happily. However, once she served us, she never came back to ask if we needed anything else. She came in the end to clear the plates. Also, their were no napkins at the table, my friend ordered Drunken Noodles and she wasn’t given any cutlery.

The food was average. We ordered a Veg Sushi Roll (asparagus, cucumber & avocado), Red Curry, Yellow Curry & Drunken Noodles. The noodles were a little dry. Overall, its ok to go once in a while.

EDIT:
we ordered again from Orchid Thai and I had to deduct a start because the chicken pad Thai was nothing of what I received the first time. The chicken pad Thai was dry, bland, and the chicken itself was white. The noddles themselves were also very light in color and did not seem like they were seasoned. The vegetable spring rolls also tasted strange this time around. Very disappointed and not sure I would even order again or go in person.

I have been looking for an authentic Thai restaurant, and Orchid Thai popped up on DoorDash and we decided to give them a try. The food, mine more specifically (chicken pad Thai) was absolutely delicious. Of note, the vegetable dumplings were not as expected (and as I’m accustomed to), I would rate those 3/5, since they were a little dry. We also ordered some spring rolls, which were really good just on the smaller side (compared to what I’m used to). I did feel it was a little over priced, given the portions. However, I know DoorDash, and other delivery services up-charge. We ended up paying about $60 for two meals and two apps. Overall, I would go order again and would like to try in person.
