I came in for dinner Thursday night and got a cup of the clam chowder to start before moving on to the crab Alfredo. I wish the pasta was a bit more flavorful, but that chowder knocked it out of the park. One thing about me is if there’s chowder on the menu, I will be ordering it. I’ve tried chowder all up and down the coast, and Zeller’s definitely makes the top 5 for me. I liked it so much that I came back two days later and ordered the bread bowl of it. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

First time in for zellers breakfast. Biscuits and gravy received rave reviews from the kids. Stuffed Belgium waffle with blueberry and sausage, special blueberry syrup too, very tasty. Eggs were all cooked to our order. To top off sweet cream pancakes with strawberries on top were delicate and tasty.
We all left with happy full bellies.
Espresso based coffees were too milky, suggest they assess ratios of milk to coffee and flavoring.

Everything was fantastic. The ranch was homemade and bomb, the mac and cheese had a creamy homemade cheese sauce, and the blue cheese burger was topped with an excellent homemade blue cheese sauce.
The barnyard burger was perfectly loaded, with ham sliced just right and not too thick. The burger itself was thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection.
My husband said it may have been his favorite blue cheese burger in Oregon!
The environment was clean and comfortable, and Jaelyn and Kathy were wonderful servers. They were attentive without hovering and genuinely friendly.
We will definitely be back.

Wow! The clam chowder is delicious! Best I’ve ever had ☺️ and it’s gluten free! The food came out nice and hot. The fish and chips was phenomenal as well! This place deserves much more business than it currently has! We’ll definitely be coming again!

We just come in from for a long weekend and thought we would try something new. The clam chowder was excellent, the cheese curds were delicious. They needed a couple more minutes in the fryer. But other wise good. Bartender was new but very nice. Will definitely be back. I had the shrimp melt and it was great!

First off service was fine . No issues.
We were told that they had good steaks.
The steak that I ordered was waaay over cooked. Part of it was not edible. I ordered it medium. It was supposed to be 12 oz. Maybe it was 10. 2 ounces was not edible.
I don’t recommend this place.

We came in for breakfast and would definitely return again. The food was satisfying and our server Melissa added to our experience by being so cheerful and kind.

This was our first time at Zeller’s! We were long time customers of the restaurant they replaced (Maxwell’s) and was sad to see it close. But we were really excited to try the new place.
The service was really good. He was very friendly and attentive. The Spicy Popper Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the fries were equally amazing!! A must try if you love burgers and spicy food. The portions were great. My husband had the chicken fried steak breakfast with biscuit and eggs. The chicken fried steak was huge but my husband wasn’t as impressed with his meal. The biscuit was very dry and not tasty. The chicken fried steak and gravy were very average. I will say that we live in Salem and there’s a place that serves Filet Mignon chicken fried steak and it has basically ruined all other chicken fried steak for us. So other people might find it more appetizing than my husband did. The food prices are mostly on par with other similar places (maybe slightly higher) but the drink prices are just ridiculous. $4 for soda and Iced Tea? Really?! The other thing I didn’t like was they don’t have Diet Coke, only Coke Zero. Which is fine if you like the taste of regular Coke, but I don’t. I am diabetic and drink only Diet Coke. Coke Zero is NOT a substitute for Diet Coke. Yes, they both have zero sugar but Diet Coke is less sweet, where Coke Zero is intended to taste just like Coke but with no sugar. I kept thinking our server gave me regular Coke instead of the Diet Coke I ordered. When I questioned him about it, he told me it was Coke Zero. PLEASE tell customers when you don’t have what they ordered. Don’t assume substitutions are okay with them. I then could have switched to Iced Tea. Instead I paid $4 for a drink I only had a few sips of.
Atmosphere is okay, nothing special. But there was this awful noise and shaking in the back where we were seated. It was really annoying. We aren’t sure what the cause of it was. Another couple seated near us was also annoyed by it. I would recommend sitting in the front of the restaurant rather than the back.
Suggestions: If you have Coke products, you should also have Diet Coke. Coke Zero is NOT a substitute for Diet Coke.
