I’ve waited way to long to try this place and it was worth it.I had the braised pork and shrimp Hu Tieu . This soup is garnished with sliced onions, scallions, and cilantro with a side of fresh bean sprouts, sweet Thai basil, and chili soy sauce. Packs such a flavorful medley. I don’t know how one can make a soup so rich yet light at the same time.i also had the Tempura Calamari which was plentiful and had nice crunch. Good but not the star of the show anyway.Pho Vietnam is another Toledo gem.You deserve a meal here and this locally-owned mom&pop business deserves your a chance grab your taste buds attention. Small dining room and limited dining hours get there early.

Let me just say… WOW. I’m still blown away by the quality of the pho noodles at this restaurant! Not only is it the best I’ve had in Toledo, but it’s got to be up there with the best I’ve ever had. While the service may be a little slow, it’s important to keep in mind that the mother of the cook is over 70 years old and still whipping up meals like a pro. In my opinion, it’s well worth the wait! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We really enjoyed our pho. Next time my daughter and I will share a bowl. So big! The broths were amazing. Mine had a little too much cilantro for my taste, but everything else was great. Took are left overs to my parents and my Dad wants to go. He loved the pho with streak I got. Coffee Buba Tea was interesting; a little bitter, but that’s coffee. Now the Lemon Buba Tea was very refreshing. It was like a melted Italian Ice.

I just spent over a year living in Nha Trang, Vietnam
I was missing the Vietnamese food and found this place.
Owned and run by a Vietnamese family, so it doesn’t get any more authentic than this.
The mother is in her 70s and the only waitress so don’t get in a hurry for your food. But it’s “same same” in Vietnam. Just enjoy the wonderful food and don’t forget the Vietnamese coffee! I went on a Sunday at lunch time and it was busy with American and Vietnamese customers.
Also, Vietnam is a beautiful Country with the kindest, hardest working people I’ve ever met.
I can’t wait to return to Vietnam, but meanwhile I’ll keep returning to this excellent authentic restaurant.

I’ve been searching for a place that serves good pho for a while now. What a wonderful experience! The Pho Dac Biet was well made and one of the best bowls of pho I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Thai tea was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and clean as well. Great customer service. I’ll be stopping in from now on. Thank you so much! I wish nothing but happiness and prosperity to this business

Fantastic food! This modest place delivers such tasty & impressive bowls of broth. Hats off to the hard working older lady and her fine kitchen crew! You made us very happy (driving on our way to NY).

I have been back here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The food is beautiful and tastes great! The family is very nice and provides great service. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Toledo.

Place was very uninviting. Probably the most unassuming restaurant I have been in. There was an older lady as the only waiter in the restaurant, which was probably why service took longer. The first thing we were told by her was that all the prices on the menu were 1-5$ more expensive. Prices were high but alright. The pho was delicious and decently portioned, but my sister got the spicy noodle broth and it was so spicy it was barely edible. The appetizers were alright. Pho was decent but probably wouldn’t come back due to the prices if I lived in Toledo

Excellent food! The pho is excellent. And you have to try the fried fish balls! The exterior of the building is a bit rough, and the service maybe not quite as attentive as some might like, but definitely worth the trip!

Beware Karen! This place ISN’T FOR YOU! It is understaffed, and in an undesirable part of town, and in what appears to be an old house. So slow service, if they are busy, might happen! The nice, older Vietnamese lady that seems to own the place, doesn’t speak great English, and she’s a little slow. I’m honestly super impressed by her! She works harder than most young people! That being said, this place is…

AMAZING!!!

I’ve been to SE Asia. Spent some time there. Love the culture, food, and COFFEE! The Pho is phenomenal, but the real treat here for me is the Vietnamese Style Iced Coffee.

It comes to the table. Smells amazing, and is still brewing! It drips beautifully and steadily into a layer of sweetened condensed milk. You then stir and pour over ice and enjoy! The only thing missing is the sock!

Check this place out. Be patient. Experience a different culture, a different way. It’s wonderful!
