Chicken salad was extremely good! Vegetables tasted super fresh and seasoning on the chicken was top notch.
Carne asada, there was enough meat in it to share with two more people, once again they have really good portions!
Definitely a great spot to stop by either if you’re local or just passing by.
Maybe i’m spoiled living in the bay area where there is so much really good Mexican cuisine but i was a little disappointed.
First off, it was kind of pricey. It was ~75.00 for a family of 4 and my youngest usually splits a plate with mama bear.
Secondly, I ordered a 3 taco plate and thankfully they put salsa on my tacos because the Al Pastor was hard. They beans and rice were just ok too, a little on the bland side.
Luckily I had a michelada to wash it all down lol.
In closing, I’m sure this place is a big hit with the locals and the location and outdoor patio is great but I just don’t see me coming back.
One thing that was kind of funny was one of the staffers didn’t know what Ketchup was haha.
will definitely need your appetite for this place. Everything is served hot! If you follow me on my reviews, I like my food hot, temp wise! Good value for what you get! From chopped up steaks with veg or onions, birria or Chile verde and pork! We will be back!
The food is absolutely delicious—everything tastes homemade, from the warm tortillas to the amazing sauces and dips (the creamy jalapeño is a must-try!). Portions are generous, and you always leave full and happy, sometimes with leftovers for the next day. Their fajitas, burritos, and enchiladas are packed with flavor, and the margaritas are perfectly refreshing.
What I love most about Chuy’s is the consistency and value. You get great food, big portions, and excellent service without breaking the bank. It’s the kind of place you look forward to going back to again and again.
Ordered the Special…
Felt the prawns and beef were over-cooked loosing their natural flavors.
Split one order and still had leftovers!
