Unfortunately it’s the worst Japanese restaurant I’ve tried in Paris so far. Soba was okay but you can make it at home if you buy the high quality ones in the Japanese supermarket in town. We didn’t get the pickles as showed in other people’s photos either. Tempura was good compared to the others though. We also ordered the sashimi and urchin hand rolls. The quality was good but it’s overpriced (maybe because of the location). Honestly Ryo and even Takara have better sashimi options than here with lower price while also in the city centre. The service level was unfortunately very low- we can feel the difference how they treat Japanese guests compared to serve others. It’s unacceptable. Another thing to note is that you need to make reservations for their lunch bento. Very disappointed and I will never come back.

Definitely need reservations – we walked in but we will lucky to do so.
The soba is very nice and the pickle variety was great too. Very refreshing meal with a wide menu (we didn’t even try the sushi). Service was solid as well and the food arrived quickly.
The mochi was good but I went with a sorbet and an ice cream would have been a better options.

Exquisite experience at Yen! This gem in Paris 06 delivers an authentic Japanese culinary journey with its exceptional soba noodles and finely crafted dishes. The service is impeccable, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that complements the beautifully minimalist decor. A must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Japan in the heart of Paris. Highly recommended if you can afford it!

It’s our favorite Japanese Restaurant in whole Europe! We made reservation with ten days advance notice and arrived directly from the airport to dine in. Their flavors are just amazing. I don’t know where and how they are getting their salmon and tuna but it’s the freshness and richest flavor fish I was able to taste outside of Japan. That flavor and the freshness is the key to the “waw” factor whether in tartare, sashimi, or nigiri. Had also delicious mixed tempura and cod. Miso Cod was on an overdone side as it was served in 4 small pieces instead of one, making the edges dry, but the nice flavor compensated for it. Service is very pleasant.
The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to update the furniture in the patio and bring some modern Japanese art on the walls. The place is too sterile and does not photograph well.

Just, YES YES YES AND YES. I came with my Japanese friend, and it was delicious. She said it was super authentic and was even able to speak Japanese with the waiters. The service was immaculate, and the food mouthwatering. And the desserts don’t even get me started. 100% recommended! Do you and have a little basket for your bag? It was so cute.

Genuine taste of Japanese food. Warm soba is wonderful dish for winter, and we feel very detoxed and cleansed after the dinner. Great service and good tempo, and dog friendly is amazing addition for us.

Yummy handmade udon in a no frills spot in the middle of St Germaine. Love that the chef makes the udon right in front of you. The broth is absolutely delicious. They were also very accommodating of my toddler. Remember to make a reservation, especially for dinner as they get full quite quickly.

Amazing Japanese restaurant in Saint German. Everything was served divided for 2 people even if we only ordered 1 portion. Super fresh fish

I didn’t make reservation and can get in at 12. I ordered oursin tofu as entree and soba oursin as main. Tofu amazed me, tofu is served with urchin and soy sauce jelly and it has a smooth and great texture. Soba is chewy and it is also good.
