The spinach artichoke dip was so good I didn’t get a pic before we devoured it. We had arugula thrown on top of the CBF and it was perfection.
Highly recommend!
We had previously attempted to come through right around opening time (or maybe too late on a weekend – we forget, haha) and it was packed, and we were unable to get a table. So it was nice to finally visit this location and eat!
Always rave about the delicious pizza, especially the style, and super thrilled being able to substitute vegan cheese (though not by choice just a dairy allergy, lol).
Thanks for a great experience, Jordan! The managers were also very attentive.
Ordered takeout. I think they perfected the crust now. Ordered three pizzas and none of them had bitter burnt bottoms. Yes, there was some of the usual signature brick oven spots, but not enough that it tasted awful. Would absolutely recommend them now. Soppressata from Ella tasted a bit old, like the fat began to go rancid. Other than that, everything was great. Added one more picture, the bright one.
Old Update: Management called and actually talked about the issue, sounds like they are willing to address the burnt crust taste that myself and other reviewers have posted. Seems like a good company that cares about quality. Will give it some time before coming back and updating. Maybe they just need to lower the oven temperature a little bit, most of the charring happens on the bottom.
Previously: Two days in a row the pizza comes out 50% burnt. I hate the taste of charcoal, and I don’t mean that good chargrilled flavor. I mean straight up licking a charcoal brick. That’s what the pizza tastes like on half the bites I take.
Just look at the plate. That’s not sauce. That’s SOOT. Tastes like a chimney.
Yes there are good flavors from the premium ingredients, but they’re heavily flavored with charcoal burnt smell and bitter taste. Disgusting half the bites. It’s a love hate relationship. I’ve been to other locations like Skillman and haven’t had this issue.
Spaghetti was ok. Have tasted better meatballs, lacks aromatics and flavor. Sauce too sour.
Don’t like the interior vibe, it’s trying to be both a bar and romantic date place at same time and achieves neither. Too loud for a date. Not enough TVs and audio for a bar.
Service the day before was good. Service tonight didn’t ask if we needed more drinks nor refill.
Because of the burnt pizzas, two dinners in a row, I won’t be coming back to this location. Not unless they improve with the dough burning situation.
