Their cod fish fry on Fridays is very good. The coating is light and seasoned just right. They offer a good variety of sides with a few different soup options. I had the beef barley, which was good but too salty.

Just dropped in and found a nice local place like my parents took us to in Wisconsin. Good basic food, wonderful chicken rice soup, and the best home made potato chips. Turns out they will sell you a take out on the chips alone – best buy of the day! And just nice old fashioned service.

BEST in northern Illinois!! The staff was some of the best we’ve experienced on both the golf course side and restaurant side. Visiting from Wyoming we weren’t sure what to expect from a small town country club. Our expectations were blown away! Service was AWESOME, golf course was in great shape and the food was nothing less than delicious. We would recommend this place to ANYONE!!

We went for a fundraiser on Saturday evening. The staff was clearly overwhelmed by the number of people. Some of our friends waited very long for service. I would suggest limiting the menu and having more easy access places for beer.
