It took them a while to bring us our food. When they brought us our food, my food was fine we both got cheeseburgers but they didn’t even bring out the buns for her and then they said they bring them right out. We waited about 10 minutes and then decided to leave. There was about 15 people the place was not busy. And then the waitress bring the wrong drink and says that this is the one that she could swore that we ordered which wasn’t. I’m not coming here again no thank you. I can’t believe the food came out with no buns

We visited Ruby’s today and waited about five minutes to be seated, as there appeared to be no hostess. Eventually, we were greeted by someone who turned out to be the general manager. He offered a table, but we requested a booth. He seemed put off by the request and walked around the restaurant counting available booths before finally seating us at an extremely small one that barely accommodated two dinner plates, let alone drinks or appetizers.
Our waitress, however, was lovely—kind, attentive, and truly the highlight of the experience. She informed us that several items were unavailable, including burgers, Philly steak, chicken, and potato skins. When we tried to order a glass of white wine, we discovered they were out of everything except one white wine.
The general manager continued to wander the dining area, occasionally stirring the same salad bar bowl rather than engaging with guests or assisting his staff.
When our food arrived, it was warm and decent, though nothing remarkable. A1 sauce was served in a small metal ramekin placed directly on my plate, which felt odd and unappealing.
All in all, the food was acceptable, but the lack of management, limited menu, and poor seating choice made the experience disappointing. Thankfully, our waitress’s warmth and professionalism saved the visit from being a total loss.

I was told its franchise restaurant, the standard fish and chips meal as the only no meat option was standard around the area, with just little amount of fries and normal tatar sauce. Nothing extraordinary. The option to add all you can eat salt bowl for cheap was fact that sold me… generous selection of veggies, salads and dressings.

Went here for the salad bar. I usually love their salad bar. There was one woman working doing the job of hostess, bartender, server and everything else. She did amazing job with what she had. I really felt bad for her. I ordered the combo soup and salad. The items at the salad bar were frozen then thawed. While they had them. The cucumbers were still frozen at the bottom of plate. While they had any. They ran out of ranch dressing also. They were out of most things. It took a very long time to get our soup then it was cold. It then took a very long time to be microwaved. There is nothing good to say about any part of the experience. On top of everything else the men’s room was disgusting I will never go there again. Save your money.

My husband is a veteran and had a coupon for a free meal today on Veterans Day. It turned out NOT free due to our waitress not knowing what were the coupon-covered options. Sorry, Mia, but I can’t give you 5 stars. We also had to wait too long to get ketchup and a refill on a lemonade, even though we asked, and our check. I will say, Mia is very friendly and appeared to be trying REALLY hard to do her job well. Also, we love receiving coupons in our email and use them nearly every time we come in. So happy that Ruby’s is open in Presque Isle, Maine again!

Great food, atmosphere, and service. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Tables and seats comfortable. Lots of discounts and freebies through their website. Highly recommended, will definitely visit again.

Beckey was our server. Very pleasant and attentive. Very deserving of a higher tip than the cost of the meal.
The food on the other hand…. that was not a ribeye it was reconstituted shoe leather if shoe leather was thicker. The ribs had good flavor but were very dry not even close to what they used to be.
If we decide to return it will likely be for drinks only and maybe the salad bar.

We hadn’t been there for about 10 years. It was like we remembered, excellent food,great service. Apparently our waitress was fairly new but she was great. We couldn’t have asked for better service. We truly enjoyed ourseves!

The food was horrible! Me and my mother ordered crab stuffed shrimp the first time we got it was gray this indicates the shrimp were under cooked shrimp. We sent them back and got new ones to take home! They were even worse, completely over cooked and burnt to the point you could not eat them! Instead of taking them off our bill they charged us for them! But this was not the end of our experience my dessert that I got was supposed to be hot it did not come out hot the marshmallows were cold. Our waitress was good no complaints there. Everything else was bad and none edible. I believe this establishment could do better but after 4times of bad service my hopes are low.
