Such a cute & cozy restaurant! Very authentic & kind staff. I love how detailed the inside is with the ceiling all corks. We got the gnocchi to go & they made it with a white sauce for us. Everything was delicious & the wine was great! Great vibes & atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our dining experience at Cafe Amici. We came to celebrate my kid’s birthday and it lived up to our expectations for a wonderful meal. It is very cozy, charming, and elegant all at the same time. Our server/hostess, Selena (hope that’s the right spelling) welcomed us with a very pleasant demeanor. She was very nice and asked the chef to accommodate my kid’s love for plain pasta with butter, with delicious meatballs on the side. The presentation of the meals was rustic and appealing. My other kid loved the carbonara which had the right amount of cheese and was cooked to perfection. Hubby and I had the lasagna, which is homemade and cooked with a scintillating blend of flavors. We dined at 5 pm on a weeknight, so it was very nice and peaceful, Selena was very attentive. At the end of the meal, she brought out Tiramisu, which was absolutely scrumptious with a candle and happy birthday lettering, which was a very nice touch. We felt special as we shared dessert. You see the attention to all the details from the beautiful front window filled with pretty wine bottles to the beautiful food presentation to the wonderful warm hospitality. The 3 most important things in a restaurant are: 1) food, 2)service, and 3)ambience. Cafe Amici hits all of the above. Service is prompt and impeccable, Selena is very nice and friendly, food is cooked with the perfect blend of flavor, the ambiance is celebratory and intimate. The place is perfect for celebrations, a romantic date, hanging with friends or family. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a fine Italian meal with a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel special .1000 stars

We like small Italian restaurants and this one fits the bill. We were walk-ins and got a nice table in the back. Restaurant is nicely decorated and not too big. Table spacing is good and it was easy to carry on a conversation.
Our waiter Jason was attentive, courteous and not overbearing during the entire meal. We started with a martini and a glass of wine, both of which had a nice poor. The fresh warm focaccia bread they brought to the table was great along with the pesto, garlic balsamic dipping sauce. We did not order an appetizer.
Wife ordered the Carbonara pasta and I ordered the Branzino fish special. Both came out in a timely manner, and both were hot. The carbonara in particular was extremely good and Wife thought it was one of the best she’s ever had. The Branzino was cooked a little different where it was butterflied and then breaded. It was perfectly cooked and had a great flavor.
This is a nice spot with great food. We’ll be back.

Our parents took us this weekend. They raved about this place having been before. To begin, we were very nice and respectful all evening. But we did speak up to address some rudeness. They dismissed it. We were all shocked at the haulty, rude demeanor of the gentleman who seated us as well as our waiter who was short, rude and dismissive all night. My elderly father-in-law asked if they had lemonade. Waiter said no and dismissed him cutting off his next question which was if there was another option he could recommend. My mother-in-law even addressed him regarding the dismissal and pointed out he had another question. Waiter was rude and dismissed her. And he cut me off too with the only question I had of the night. The waiter did not offer the specials and almost slung the water, a sign of a very disorganized and/or inexperienced waiter. My husband and I had the eggplant parm. It was a tasteless lump of mush under cheese and sauce. The only reason I gave it two stars was for the dessert. We ate at several wonderful restaurants in the area over the weekend prior to trying this last one. We have no idea how this place got positive reviews. We’ve never seen anything like it. Best to spend your money elsewhere.

This was mine and my partners first time here and everyone was so kind & friendly..The food was absolutely out of this world! I would recommend this place to anyone. Our server, Selena, was such a sweetheart—so knowledgeable, gave amazing recommendations, and truly made the whole experience top-notch. Ask for Selena when you come in! You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back soon!

Our dining experience was extremely disappointing. As locals, we were excited to bring our out-of-state family to this restaurant — but the evening quickly became embarrassing. After requesting to speak with the owner, the individual identifying himself as the manager/owner appeared far more focused on paying inappropriate attention to my 16-year-old granddaughter than on addressing our concerns or managing his restaurant.
The issues were numerous:
• Poor and inattentive service
• Unclean surroundings
• Staff who seemed unprepared and overwhelmed
• Only one operational restroom for the entire restaurant
It took an unreasonable amount of time — over 45 minutes after ordering — to receive our food. During that waiting period, the manager was observed spending more time casually interacting with females at the bar than overseeing operations or supporting the waitstaff.
As a family with Italian heritage, we were especially disappointed by the food quality. It was bland, overpriced, and lacked authenticity — more thrown together than thoughtfully prepared.
We were embarrassed in front of our guests and will not be returning. This establishment failed to provide the minimum level of professionalism, hospitality, and culinary quality expected from a restaurant.

We had a great experience dining here on St Patrick’s Day. The best tomahawk steak that I have had in town. Excellent wine selection too. This is also a wonderful place to celebrate a special event. We had our own room with a dance floor and DJ! If I could add a video you could see the bicycle that you ride that blends a Margarita! It really works. Ask for the owner Massimo he’s a class act.

Unfortunately, the service was very poor. The attitude we encountered felt arrogant and unwelcoming, which led us to leave before being served. I wouldn’t recommend based on that experience alone

What a wonderful restaurant!
This venue is as close to eating in Milano as you can find.
With its great atmosphere, a very impressive wine list, a dedicated wait staff and delicious Italian food, you will love this place.
As a matter of fact, we drive from Bonita Springs to Sarasota just to eat here!
