The service was nice, the atmosphere was calm. (I think mainly because it was a weekday). There was a promotion as well, for ordering a drink we got a free pad Thai for our child. It was very nice of them.
Some of the dishes on the menu were Thai name, it would be helpful if there were small descriptions of the dish.
I find the portions small for how much it was: the plates were at least 23$ each… look at the tofu ka prao: there is barely any tofu it’s just rice.
The Pad Sew Ew noodles were good but the beef was hard… ick. Also can we talk bout the fact you have to pay 1.30$ or 2.35$ or 4.45$ more to have beef or chicken or shrimp instead of tofu?! The plate already started at 23.48$ what do u mean??
Overall not worth it at all.
We ordered salt and pepper shrimp, tom yum soup, chicken gyoza, their new flower dumplings, red and green curries (both came with rice), grilled mackerel (very nice with a great green dip).
We ordered Mango Salad and Papaya salad. Both were good but I prefer the Mango salad. For the main course we ordered Pad Thai and Tofu Fried Rice. I didn’t like either one. The dishes were bland and lacked flavour.
Overall, if you are looking for Halal Thai, it’s worth trying out.
I hate to see comments like ‘I’ve been to so many Thai restaurants it didn’t taste like other Thai restaurants’ ‘the food is REPULSIVE’ DO YOUR RESEARCH! Each part of Thailand has its own unique flavor, and they’re not just sweet and sour!
Like EXCUSE me? You ordered papaya with stinky fish sauce and you’re here complaining?!!!! Maybe ask before you order it?! I’m not even Thai but I feel the disrespect! That’s really disrespectful to a restaurant which is trying to make authentic food ! Maybe you should just keep going to your whitewashed Thai restaurants! You don’t belong to here. 100% uneducated ignorant and not well cultured!
The waiter was very polite and helped to decide on the menu. It’s just a pity that 4 dishes were brought out at once: salad, noodles, and hot appetizer, and dumplings. We had to eat all the hot food quickly. Next time I will definitely inform you that it is not necessary to take everything out. Also, for some reason the staff cleaned the empty tables, but not ours. This is a mistake, you should first remove dirty dishes from the guests, not where no one is already sitting. I worked as a restaurant manager for more than 10 years and I know what I’m talking about.
But nevertheless thanks to the waiter, who speaks 5 languages, including ours, and thanks to the delicious food, our impression is positive.
I recommend it !
