Forget Glacier National Park. Outlaw Diner alone is worth the trip to North Montana from wherever you’re coming from. Delicious food, creative menu, affordable prices, authentic atmosphere – this place has it all. Bring the whole famn damily. There’s something for everyone. We’re not from the area and we were truly delighted by our experience.

What a great little place to eat! Old country music playing, very relaxed atmosphere! The food was really good! Homemade soup made by the owner. We had beef and lamb gyro, and the chicken bacon ranch wrap. Both amazing!!

We’ve eaten here more than a few times. It was never spectacular, but it goes downhill every time. Seems like they are just waiting until their lease is up. Our last visit, on a Sunday at “after church” time, it was completely empty. The self serve coffee was cold. Our food was barely edible, the presentation was unappealing. My impression, having worked in the restaurant industry, is that they purchase the least expensive and quickest to prepare items from whatever food service supply they use. We overheard the cook telling the server that she didnt care for the fish, which my partner had ordered. It was terrible. I hate to say, as we love our local businesses, but we are done with this diner unless something amazing happens.

Food was good for the price. The chicken steak gravy was very tasty and the coffee bar was great! They were out of the red potatoes so, we received tater tots. They were okay, super well done.

This is a great little breakfast diner in the heart of Columbia Falls. Simple but great food and the service quality is admirable.
Been here a few times now and I will return again…..
Bottom Line: 8.7 out of 10

Cool little diner in the old town section. Stopped by for breakfast and this place is about the only one in town. You order at the counter and they deliver the food when it’s done. Good size menu with a wide variety for any palate. I had the outlaw special with biscuits and outlaw gravy. She had the quinoa bowl egg scramble and everything was hot and fresh. I’d stop in again. Check it out.

Incredible breakfast! Just know they only cook their eggs one way, and that’s scrambled. I had the Marshall, which is scrambled eggs, smoked sausage, and onion with fried potatoes. I also ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. It all was very good. I washed it all down with a cup of their coffee. Give it a try if you want a mom and pop kind of place that plays outlaw country music. I loved it.

Little lacking on service when we were here in July. Walked in and all the tables needed to be cleaned. Very crowded. Sat for a while and then realized we had to go to the counter to order. Ordered, got our drinks from the self serve dispenser.
It took a while to get our table clean. I think they were short on help. Food came after a while. Scramble was real good and tasty. Chicken fried steak was excellent! Thats not a frozen patty! Gravy was nice, thick and tasty. Potatoes were a little overseasoned, but cooked perfect and we liked that.
Overall, a great little place to eat, but was lacking service the day we were there. It’s worth a try!

Staff has a bad attitude, lazy and sitting around talking, cook has no gloves on, has a dirty tissue in his pocket hes using to clean his nose while cooking (wish I witnessed that prior to eating)…I asked for a to go cup and they wanted to charge me for the cup even though I spent 25 dollars on a single breakfast including a 3.50$ coffee which seems a little insane even with inflation. Absolutely ridiculous display, the saltiest sausage I have ever had in my life. Just an awful experience over all. Save some money if youre struggling and get one staff member who can do it all and make us self order on a tablet to save some pain. 0

Its rare i give this bad of a review. walking in the lady immediately complaining it was her monday. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. It tasted like gas station food. I also ordered the scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. the potatoes were very dry. the sausage was good. and the scrambled eggs were the best part of the whole meal. I paid 26 dollars. Wasnt too happy that the food was that expensive and tasted below par.
