Everything is GREAT about this place!!!!! I’m 50 years old Godfathers Pizza use to be our weekend outting we I was a kid about 10 or 12 years old the location was in midfield. DELICIOUSNESS .
That location eventually shut down .Fast Forward to about years ago I discovered This location and had to order like having to have air to breathe. Customer service amazing, pizza amazing, (like back in the day) hot , fresh, and HEAVY!!!! .This is not cheap pizza (just look at the name ) . My pizza always run me about $30 and yeah don’t forget to take care of your sweet tooth as well.

I had this about a yr or 2 ago and loved it. I finally got back by there after having my mouth set for about a month. I was disappointed with my classic pizza,. looks like it shrunk and became a deep dish.. too much bread. I loved the cheese sticks, though. They get an easy 4.3. Great price, special and staff. I just cldnt eat much after it wasn’t what I’d been expecting.

First time eating at this pizza place. We ordered carry out. Ordered the Super Taco pizza, an all meat pizza, cheese sticks, and garlic parmesean wings. The taco pizza was interesting. It had all the toppings of a Supreme taco with olives, lettuce, meat, and cheese. They gave us sides of sour cream and taco sauce. Overall this pizza was dry. You had to almost drown it in sauce for it not to be so thick going down. The all meat pizza was “ok”. The cheese sticks didn’t have enough cheese on them for you to taste the cheese. It was a lot of bread. Matter of fact that’s all I can say about this pizza restaurant…. it’s a whole lot of tasteless dough! The best thing that we had tonight were the garlic parmesean wings. The wings were GREAT! Everything else… meh. I signed up for the loyalty program, but I seriously doubt I’ll be returning.

I was a first time customer here when I got in it was slow but I was happy because I gave me time to look over the menu. The cashier had no problem explaining my options and how to get the meal that was cost effective and with everything I wanted. So thanks for the great service and insight of the menu Elijah. Sidenote the pizza was cut well, hot and beautiful. The Cherry dessert I had was other worldly. 5/5, I would come again for the food and service, I only wish one was in Trussville :(.

Please understand, this review is not about the location and staff, they are great! But the pizza? What have they done? The crust is just not edible now. It’s the worst pizza crust I’ve ever tasted. Good lord what did they do, add cardboard boxes to the recipe?

Not quite as good as I good as I remember from the 80’s but still good.
We both ordered the # 5 which includes one pizza and one side for $7.99. It is an excellent deal.
I had the All-Meat Combo Pizza with the Caramel Monkey Bread as my side.
My wife had the Hot Stuff with the Caramel Monkey Bread as her side.
Service was good. Food came out piping hot.

I went about a week ago. I’d heard good things from coworkers so I decided to give them a try. It was very clean and a little small. I wouldn’t recommend it for a large group/party. The pizza was fresh and extra cheesy. They don’t hold back on the toppings, which is nice. The side salad comes in a container even when dining in. The server didn’t check in with me very much, but you refill your own drinks. I will definitely go back and try other things off the menu.

This was my first visit to any Godfather’s Pizza. It’s in a very convenient location, easily accessible from downtown or the Southern suburbs
It has plenty of parking.
I was greeted by a very friendly employee the moment I entered. Great looking hot bar with a variety of fresh pizza for those on limited lunch hours.
I ordered a calzone and it arrived steaming hot. I could hardly wait to dive in, it smelled fantastic. I drove five miles home and still had to wait few minutes before I could eat the calzone it was so hot.
The crust was excellent, fresh and yeasty with herbs and cheese on the outside. The inside was steamy with lots of meat!
The owners both came out to check on me at different times. They really care about their product and wanted to make absolutely sure I had a great first experience at Godfather’s. I did and I’ll be back!

Ordered pizza and wings while I was visiting and it was pretty good. I ordered via the Uber Eats app and and it was at my door within 30 minutes. They followed the modifications regarding the pizza so I was happy about that.
