On Friday January 5,2024 I ordered a bologna basket to go with mustard chili slaw & onions. I took a few bites & saved the rest for later. It tastes very good. About an hour later my stomach began to cramp. Shortly after I experienced massive vomiting & diarrhea so I was taken to the emergency room. I couldn’t walk or dress myself. They immediately started an IV of morphine, two bags of fluids, ran labs, EKG, and my blood pressure skyrocketed to 199/174(I don’t have hypertension), heart rate 122. Along with other meds. I could not be released until they were back to normal. This sandwich was the only thing I ate this day. I’ve tried to call since I’ve felt better but no answer. I noticed they’re Health Dept. grade is 94.5 & I work in the industry so I know there needs to be improvements. I will be visiting them to let them know of my experience. I just don’t want nobody else to go through what I did bc it definitely scary & dangerous.

Willis Sandwich Ship has been around for as long as I can remember. I like to get lunch here anytime I am back in my hometown. I wanted ahotdog this time, but it tasted like it had been boiled instead of grilled.

Great grille with great prices. Get there early for lunch though, they’re well known and draw a crowd! Friendly service and nice environment to have either breakfast or lunch.
