The view is pointing towards the pier. And we were seated in cabana which was a nice experience. We Went during happy hour, and was a little disappointed that the menu becomes extremely limited during this time. We came ready to EAT! But we decided on a cocktail and we shared a flatbread. I’m unsure of the name of the cocktail (it was a blood orange color with tequila and tajin on it) she loved it. We both enjoyed the flat bread.
Hope to make it for dinner menu one day. Reminder: if it’s hot out, you are in direct sunlight during the day.
I recommend giving trying them out but if you are hungry make sure to go during lunch or dinner. lol

Food was good. Atmosphere was fine too.

Why 1 star? We ordered drinks and also ordered a starter and a main course. It was a natural expectation to get starters with our drinks.

They took 40 mins to get our food. How can you just have drinks without any food? Ridiculous waiting time. We confronted our host and asked him – couldn’t he give us something complementary Atleast while we were left hungry with just two alcohol beverages? Atleast a bread or freakin nachos or something to compensate for the wait time?
He said no they dont have that in their policy. Absolutely shameful. Never returning back here.

I am showing a picture here how we were treated with absolute warm and fresh sour dough bread at an another italian place (simple etiquettes and hospitality this cyprus restraunt should learn)
. Take a NOTE!!!

If you’re near the Pismo Pier, skip the crowded boardwalk and head up to this rooftop. The layout is beautiful and the views of the beach are unbeatable.
We spent a gorgeous Monday afternoon here grazing on appetizers and enjoying the sun. The food was light and refreshing specifically the bruschetta and the calamari.

The staff made us feel right at home, which is why our “one drink” turned into a four-hour stay. It’s cozy, upscale but down-to-earth, and easily one of my new favorite spots in Pismo.

On the rooftop at Inn at the Pier. Very hospitable service, very accommodating. They made sure we were comfortable. Drinks are well crafted and delicious. Food was spot on. My steak frites at dinner was perfectly prepared. Brunch was a knockout, with amazing bloody Mary. The hotcakes and the chilaquiles are outstanding! Prices are very reasonable as well.

I’ve been to Cypress Beach House several times now, and each visit has been nothing short of amazing. The service here is consistently top-notch—every staff member is warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making each experience memorable. Whether it’s offering thoughtful menu recommendations or checking in at just the right moments, they always go above and beyond.

The food, of course, is fantastic, but it’s the exceptional service that keeps me coming back. Cypress Beach House is one of those rare places where you can count on a wonderful experience every single time. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here many times! Great place to take friends and family visiting town. Has a beautiful view of the Pismo Beach. I love the fire pits and couches. They have a wide variety of food to pick from and I’ve been happy with everything we’ve tried. I love their bread and butter appetizer! Service has always been great for us.

First timers here! The roof top was a great spot for a nice dinner and TONS of whale watching this evening! Ordered the antipasto plate as a starter to share and it was delicious! Hubby ordered the steak Frites w/ house fries (it was ok) and as a recommendation, I tried the short rib rigatoni. Pretty unique flavors and was overall really good!

Ate here while staying at the inn. We sat right next to the rail and enjoyed an excellent view while eating brunch. We ordered both the asparagus benedict and the short rib hash. While the benedict was good the short rib hash was excellent, only wish the portions were slightly larger.

A group of 6 of us went to a winemakers dinner at Cypress Beach House and it was truly one of the best we’ve ever been to. And we’ve been to a LOT!
The view of course was gorgeous but the food, wine and service were amazing! The chef really deserves some props! Of our four courses, I couldn’t possibly choose a favorite, each one was unbelievably good and inventive. As well, the service was excellent! Kendall, the Manger, oversaw everything and her attention to detail was spot on! The service team did a great job, our waters were always full, plates cleared at the appropriate times, new flatware provided when needed and when we got chilly they handed out blankets. A wonderful evening and a special place to dine.
