Definition of a 5-star meal. My friend and I did the chef’s tasting menu which was a very reasonably priced $85 including 3 courses, starting with the tuna cannolis (out of this world) and crudo, onto the main course featuring head and tail-on prawns, melt in your mouth fish and the most tender, juicy truffle chicken.
Finished the meal with a dessert platter which included cookies, ice cream and a decadent fudge. There was no issue with ensuring the tasting menu was gluten and nut-free which was a pleasant surprise for me at least.
Our server Jo and the rest of the staff kept the meal moving at a steady pace with excellent service. Fun, upbeat vibe as well.

We’ve passed Little Maven so many times and always meant to try it. Last night we finally did for NYE. It was absolutely a great experience.
From our wonderful server, Vanessa, to the outstanding food, we had a night to remember.
We started with the Tuna Cannoli and the Caesar endive, both perfect for sharing and packed with layers of flavor. The scallops with caviar were rich and decadent, a little on the salty side. For entrées, we had the dry-aged duck and the steak frites, both incredibly tender. The portion of fries was extremely generous, more than enough to share.
Even though we were completely full, we couldn’t pass up the homemade cookies and ice cream for dessert.
Highly recommend making a reservation.

Food was good, appetizer portions were underwhelming. I’d highly recommend the Caesar salad, duck agnolotti and desert cookie. I would not recommend the steak frites as the steak was tough to cut through and lacked flavour.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was superb and the hospitality top notch. Celebrated a birthday dinner and felt wildly special. That’s not always the case in a busy establishment, but they took the time and energy to make one feel seen and very taken care of. Highly recommend

Freaking amazing! Why aren’t you here?!?!? The food drink atmosphere service all amazing! Cannot say a bad word about this place! This review probably feels fake but I had my 2 year old and she was given a special drink and felt like a queen with her spoons and forks for dessert! Will come back every time I come to the city

A simple yet incredible dining experience. Atmosphere is chic, modern, and electric. The service is spectacular even at the busiest time, changing our plates for each meal. The whipped tahini was perfectly spicy and full of flavor, the tuna canolis had a seamless crunch, the oxtail pasta was so good we forgot to take a photo first, the steak frites were unbelievable, and the milk and cookies stole the show. A near 10/10 experience.

Could not leave without giving a 5 star review! The service was phenomenal and deserves 5 stars all on its own, but the food was soooo good too. We kept ordering more because it was all so delish. Tuna, caviar and celery root pasta were stand outs.
Vanessa was our server and made our birthday dinner SO special, would come back for her alone.

Little Maven was most excellent! A gorgeous little spot with a wonderful variety of menu items; perfect for a date night or special occasion! We just recently stopped by to celebrate our bride-to-be, and Raymond took such good care of us. Dessert was probably my favorite part. The miso-chocolate chip-sea salt cookies with the soft serve were to DIE for. The staff are incredibly kind and detail-oriented, and we had such a pleasant experience dining here as a group. We will definitely be back. 🙂

Wonderful dinner from start to finish. We had the pleasure of being served by Ramos, who was attentive, affable, and awesome. We started with the tots & caviar, which was like McDonald hash browns on steroids and the tuna cannolis (also on the smaller side but undeniably delicious). We got the duck ravioli which had a great balance of umami and acidity (the ravioli itself was cooked to perfection). We also were lucky enough to finesse the off menu truffle burger, which is easily an S tier burger (same level as lions bar and better than a PJ Clark’s – steakhouse style, not smashed) Fries were unreal. The dirty Martin’s (w/blue cheese olives) were also perfection and the Cali cab to wash it all down was equally delectable. 10/10. Great food, ambiance, and service. Will be back.

I think the food was pretty good. I got the duck ravioli and it was pretty good. The vibes were good as well and it wasn’t too crowded that we got seated right away. However, why does it take years to serve our food? We got our first starter right away but we didn’t get our second starter and rest of the food more than 30 minutes later. It wasn’t even that busy and they didn’t even check on us that I had to grab one server and asked when will we get our food. Our server later asked to offer a free cookie but we didn’t take it. Were they being racist? I don’t know but I was very disappointed in their service.
