A friend booked that back room for her birthday and had ordered a spread for her 30+ guests. Scout brought out a charcuterie board made for maybe 3 people… was definitely expecting a more elaborate board considering it was listed as a catering menu option

This is my favorite place to grab a bottle of wine and linger if I have the time. The best part is the wine club, so Jake can pick my bottles for me! No more guessing or picking based on label design, only fantastic wine at a reasonable price from some really nice people.

The somm here is great. I stopped in for wine at Christmas and walked out with two reasonably priced wines that were a hit. It made me look like I know wine when I def do not. (Also, daydreaming about summer, when I can meet friends here for a drink on the patio. The best outdoor spot in Shorewood. )

We love this gem we found! Classy, cozy and so comforting all in one!! The environment here is just amazing. I absolutely love the set up and how simple the menu was. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff indeed. This was actually our first time here after getting our DINO tattoos, and we surly enjoyed our wino DINO time. Finally came back again the second time for our 5 bottles of Passivento, which is our absolute favorite from here btw and again, it was great!! We’ve searched high and low and this is the only place here near us that carries it. Looks like this will be our new wino DINO spot!!! BIGG THANKS to the team for making us feel so welcomed, you guys are just full of AWESOMENESS!!!

This place could be amazing….however the service is terrible and on multiple occasions I have walked in with a group of people 45 minutes prior to closing time and they are “no longer serving”. Why do I feel like an inconvenience when I want to order a drink? To the owner: if you ever want to sell this place, I will buy it, fire all of your staff, and turn it into the go to place in Shorewood. The potential is there, but your employees are ruining your reputation in the village.

Had a wonderful time exploring wine at Scout. I loved the options available to create our perfect 6 glass wine tasting.
Absolutely loved the conversation. Wanted to just stop by for a bit but ended up staying for hours. PS the beet humus was amazing.

I hosted a private event here and it was a great experience! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and great to work with. The wine (and other beverage) selection is excellent and prices are reasonable. I loved the patio space. I would strongly recommend Scout for events and am looking forward to returning just for a glass of wine and maybe to pick up a bottle!

Scout is an amazing place to host a party! The owners were so easy and accommodating to work with and went out of their way to make our event extra special. Great communication leading up to the event to make sure every detail was covered. The space is unique and beautiful, food and drinks were excellent and staff was just wonderful. I highly recommend Scout for a smaller gathering, we fit around 40 guests comfortably. It was a nice day so we also used their outdoor patio space.

We rented the entire space for a few hours for our welcome drinks before a wedding. Emily was amazing to work with from the beginning. Scout was very flexible and open to what we were looking for whether it be a custom menu, food options, or hours of the reservation. She was incredibly accommodating with any requests we had. Most important, she and her staff were so great the night of the event. We had ~100 guests and everyone still talks about how much fun the party was at Scout! We are just looking for another reason to have a private event there!

I would like to start by saying that this place had a really cool vibe.
Indoor bar, and, outdoor seating.
And, although the menu is small, it’s “interesting”.
Our party of 4 had wine, 3 appetizers, and, a 10 inch (frozen) pizza….I Know it was frozen, because After we ordered it, the server told us!
I felt really bad for my daughter, who suggested going here.
I would have left fewer stars, but, my sweet daughter would have been embarrassed.
I will Not be going back when I visit (from Tennessee) next time…
