SO MUCH FOOD for $40. I’m so picky about my Chinese food and this place is by far the best in Santan Valley. It’s always super hot and fresh too. I’ve had it delivered too and it’s fast.

Ordered lunch from Bobo China in San Tan Valley and had a great experience. The woman who took my call was polite, clear, and professional — and when I arrived, her in-person energy matched exactly.
That level of consistency in customer service is rare these days.
Food was ready on time, and the experience felt respectful from start to finish. I appreciate businesses that still value courtesy.

Ordered through delivery app. Arrived hot and on time. But that’s the highlight. The sesame chicken was basically coated with caramel. Like, inedible and chewy like an over cooked sugar sauce. See photos. This is a wild experience, I’ve never seen anything like this. First and last time ordering here.

I was pretty disappointed with this place. The service was slow as hell, even though it wasn’t particularly busy. Long waits just to order and even longer to get the food, with no real explanation or apology.
The atmosphere didn’t help either. The staff gave off a very forced, “woke” vibe that felt more like an attitude than customer service. Instead of being attentive or welcoming, it felt like customers were an inconvenience.
As for the food, it was just average. Nothing bad, but definitely nothing worth waiting that long for or coming back again. Plenty of other Chinese restaurants manage faster service and better food without the attitude.
Overall, slow service, mediocre food, and an off-putting vibe. I won’t be returning.

If you plan on eating in like my family and I did, dont plan on happy employees. They were less than accommodating in trying to help us secure some kind of plate to eat on, which they dont have. Finally, she offered us extra Togo containers to eat on but stared and glared at us the whole time. It couldn’t have been more uncomfortable. Ill never go back as long at the girl with shaved hair works there, shes gotta to be the dumbest least caring/helpful employee of all time. So easy to go just to the other Chinese food restaurants, so just go to there instead. Food might have gotten a better rating if the atmosphere wasn’t so bad.

Usually the food is thoroughly cooked and delicious. But today the veggies in my dish were barely done to the point where I decided to dump my plate into a frying pan and finish the job.
The flavor was incredible….the veggies were RAW.
This meal actually tasted better after another 5 minutes on the stove but I shouldn’t have had to do this.
I think we are going to find another place to eat that has this type of menu from now on.

UPDATE: OCT 25. Bobo is STILL high on my list for food taste and quality, price, variety. Ordered the Treasures of the Sea Combination Dinner. This is a LARGE portion loaded with shrimp and scallops and fresh veggies. For my sides I had fried rice and wonton soup. Once again, they’ve nailed the soup. Crystal-clear light broth with pieces of Chinese cabbage. Also ordered the ribs (HUGE & MEATY) and the fried battered shrimp. It was a busy Sunday night and I was told to expect up to an hour wait for delivery but was pleased when the food was delivered in about 30 minutes. One question – what’s with the $1 convenience fee? My order total before delivery and tip was over $30 and the convenience fee annoyed me. That said, they did include a complementary egg roll and fried wonton! See my new pics.
Are you kidding me! The wonton soup is a meal in itself! Too many restaurants serve over-cooked wontons falling apart in a dark salty broth with no garnish. Not Bobo! The broth was delicate, light and seasoned perfectly. The wontons were fresh and firm. This soup was loaded with a lot of wontons and also chicken, shrimp and bok choy. You have to try this. And my entree was the scallops with veggies. I’m talking LARGE fresh scallops, perfectly cooked. Lastly, the chicken lettuce wraps were spot on. The lettuce was chilled and crispy and the diced chicken was very savory. Pricing is excellent.

They make it good, right, and don’t take an hour off in the middle of the day like some other places. My current go to Chinese restaurant, and I love Chinese food. Eat there weekly almost.

Two stars because the chicken was fricken amazing. But also only two stars i got two sesame chicken lunch specials. Unfortunately the chicken was straight out of the fryer so every piece that touched the styrofoam take out box melted the box. Thus mixing a lot of styrofoam into my food. I could not eat but two of the top pieces that didn’t contact the box same thing for the 2nd order. The two pieces i had were amazing though. *edit changed to 4 stars after explaining what had happened the restaurant made it right. Food is awesome!
