I called in my order for pickup. I had a hard time understanding what person on the phone was saying. I was never asked my name. I wasn’t sure how to request my order. There was not an organized way to park. It was a get in were you fit in parking lot (horizontal, diagonally and vertically). I got there and you have to quote what you ordered. The only positive was the order was ready. I asked could I have two more soy sauce packets, I was told no! I gave you two. The food was not good. My fried rice was dry! I threw half of the rice away. I made myself get some of it down. Also, there is no where to sit. It’s a stand and grab joint.

Great food. I recommend the low mein, fried rice, egg rolls and egg fu young . Their duck fried rice is their specialty. Food is served hot and fresh. There was a man outside the door pan handling and it made us uncomfortable. We waited inside but there were no chairs. It’s located is a plain old building.

This is a hole in the wall Chinese place. It is an old gas station. The waiting area is a very uninviting, and somewhat prison like atmosphere. Honestly, some of the patrons are threatening and sketchy. I am not a fan of the neighborhood, but it is close to the VA, Powell Hall, and the Fox theater.

I’ve read the reviews on how salty the rice is but ignored it. This rice is soooooo salty like they want to give you high blood pressure. It would’ve been good if it was so salty. Then the crab rangoon is pancake flat, there’s no stuffing in it. Look at the picture. I’ve ordered this for lunch at work and wasted money.

I live out of state now and have been for decades. The state I live in now doesn’t have rice like this. The rice tastes okay to me. I haven’t been back for so long that I forgot they only take cash.

Enjoyed this little place and will definitely come back when in the area. Prices are cheap and the food is good. I went with the traditional chicken chop suey with white rice and it was really good. Talking to other patrons they recommend getting the chicken wings with gravy so I’ll be trying that next time too.

And they make you pay after you food is ready not before like when you peace your order…. So me and my family were kinda sitting there looking stood in line bc none had cash when our food was done…

Literally gave me 4 crab Rangoons with nothing in them, I asked for no onion, there’s onion and the lo mein was nasty! It tasted awful!
