At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

Ordered take out and the food was terrible. The pork platter was mostly fat and had barely any red sauce on it, and was also missing white sauce which was requested when ordering online. The chicken tacos were a joke. They were all thrown together with the smallest bit of chicken on each. They also completely changed their Mac n’ cheese and the new version is not good at all.

The beef brisket way I wanted. Smokey, soft, tender brisket with crunchy edge gave me full satisfaction. Corn bread was savory with subtle sweetness, made a good sides. Banana pudding made perfect desert!

A great BBQ restaurant with lots of space, wonderful food, a nice selection of adult beverages! The facility is extremely clean with a modern architecture – a relatively new building that has high ceilings. Lots of parking! They have an excellent menu with a variety of delicious options. The staff is friendly, polite, and efficient! Moderate prices and perfect for lunch or dinner.

I’ve been here twice already on travel for work. 1st they ran out of all meats so the only things left were fried foods. I got the fried catfish and it was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely try it! Try the bbq sauce on the catfish!
2nd time around I got the Sausage and Brisket platter. The griddled cornbread is something else. Grits casserole is a must.
On Saturdays they have live music.
They definitely need some shade on the windows when the sun is creeping down. It can be blinding.

Excellent menu – the burger, hot chicken tacos, fries and mac and cheese are excellent! Great service and live music at certain times. Great spot!

Just wow! I’ve been to a few BBQ joints and this one takes the cake purely off of flavor! One thing I hate is a dry and bland piece of meat. The tacos were *chef’s kiss* delicious! The burnt ends were also delicious though the portions for those are very very small. The cornbread was a mix of savory and sweet and complemented the food very well. Don’t even get me started on the gooey butter cake!!! This is the 6th one I’ve tried in a year and this takes the cake, literally!
Service was great. They offer water cups, bring the food to your table, and check on you.
If you have an issue with flies do not sit by the entrances. We were swatting nonstop but didn’t bother us enough to move.
Also, there is a cute selfie wall outside!

First let me start by saying I grew up in central Texas so I’m very familiar with BBQ. This place, Edleys, has some of the worst and simultaneously most expensive BBQ I’ve had in the area. The Brisket looked to have been baked or boiled with absolutely no smoke ring or moisture whatsoever! The sausage was decent tasting but dry as hell. I had to give it to my dog and even he was disappointed. Maybe brisket and sausage isn’t there thing but the beans were trash too. The only things that were “good” were the Mac and cheese and corn bread that I didn’t know was going to be included. I’ve the best BBQ in the world and I’ve had the worst and everything in between. This was closer to the worst plus it was expensive as hell. Opt for Sugarfire or Beast BBQ which is a little bit better.

First time eating here. Always love trying new restaurants in area, especially bbq places.
We ordered takeouts, person who checked me out was friendly and nice.

It was not the bbq we are use to. Meat was dry, got the platter with brisket chicken and pork with corn bread and baked beans. The meat was dry, the flavor comes from their version of a bbq sauce and this white sauce that’s just covering all my chicken was gross.

the burnt ends were not burnt . The fries are chewy the flies are thick! Cornbread was dry the beans were tasty though and the only thing that was warm. Being from KC it’s hard to find good barbeque anywhere else.
