First time here! The food took a little longer to prepare than some places but well worth the wait! Everything fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the breakfast bowl and I had the Fried Chicken breakfast. The breading on chicken light and crisp and really tender and juicy inside. Potatoes were skin on (the way I like them). The gravy was very unique and everything was perfectly spiced. My drink was phenomenal as well! I’d like to go back and try more! Staff was professional and sincerely cared that we had a good experience.

The food was served hot and fresh, the taste was great. I had the Salmon and my wife had the Honey Garlic Chicken and we enjoyed it all. The wait was a little long since a group came in before us. If you have time I would definitely recommend you stop and enjoy their food.

Delicious food, friendly service, and best of all, you are supporting a black owned business!!! My boyfriend and I both ordered breakfast; he had the stuffed French toast and a side order of biscuits and gravy. I had a make your own omelette (bacon and sausage) and a side order of grits. Everything was steaming hot and so good!! My boyfriend really liked the jelly for the biscuits as well. Loved the atmosphere and beautiful artwork on the walls. 10/10 experience; we will be back for sure!

The service was on point. Went with a group of 3 and had a take out order, too. Loved the Crab Cake Benedict. Egg could have been a bit runnier, but all of the other aspects of the dish were on point. The chicken fried steak was wonderful. It was well seasoned and had an added kick of heat. That gravy is stellar, too!!! I’d say it’s one of the best restaurant’s gravy out there. All in all, I highly recommend this local joint! Definitely put this on your list to check out!

I had the cinnamon crunch French toast meal and loved it…I loved the syrup and would only recommend powdered sugar. I came early afternoon and was seated immediately. I love the wall art because I’m from Baltimore visiting Indianapolis and enjoyed local vibes.

The food took 40 minutes, so we had to take it to go. The grilled chicken had no flavor unless you call grill marks flavor. The “homemade” hamburger patty had no seasoning. The fries were extremely garlicky. The “mac” & cheese was actually penne pasta that was yellow, bland, and no seasoning. The tea was delicious! The waitress was super sweet and nice. There was a baby there, and she was not happy 50% of the time we were there. Someone changed her diaper on the bar(bartender side). It’s just unprofessional. There were obviously busy with to go orders. I guess try at your own risk. Sorry, I know they are coming up on their 1-year anniversary, but I had to be honest. Good luck, and I hope things turn for the better.

This place was a nice surprise. Really beautiful presentation. You could tell it was made with love. After having the lemon grilled chicken, I’m excited to try other dishes. On the slow side for lunch, but worth the wait. The add-on honey garlic and honey chili sauces were a fantastic addition to my meal.

Absolutely fantastic find. Sort of a hole in the wall place in south indy. My wife and I came up to see a movie at the IMAX theater nearby and wanted to get breakfast first. I got the breakfast platter of a lot of different things. Every bite was good! It took a minute for the food to come out because everything was made from scratch. Well worth it! My biscuits and gravy were some of the best I have had. I should have ordered a full order on the side. They were that good. My wife had the crab Benedict and loved it as well. The seats were maybe a tiny bit uncomfortable and it is very much a sort of “found space” type of restaurant. But that is a very minor complaint when the food is this flavorful.

Stopped here on a whim for brunch with my daughter, and we absolutely loved it. Food was great and so was the customer service. The crab avocado Benedict was perfect, but I’m also excited to try the classics like the biscuits and gravy. We’ll definitely be back!

Edit: Revisit! Just as good as the first time! Smothered chicken was so, so tender, it nearly melted in my mouth. Mashed potatoes and gravy were great. But believe it or not, the Brussels sprouts were the best thing in the plate! Crispy, tender, and nutty, with just the right hint of salt. Don’t pass this place over!

Dinner was first class! Balsamic glazed lamb, over garlic mashed potatoes. The house salad was super-fresh – probably the freshest I can remember having anywhere – and I’m certain the honey mustard dressing had to be homemade. It was more tangy than sweet, though the sweetness was there, which I appreciated. The pasta in the mac and cheese was local. The texture of the sauce was great, on the thinner side and not at all gloopy or mushy. Great cheese flavor. More food than could be eaten in one sitting, and totally worth the price.
