My daughter wanted some good sushi for lunch and this was the only one that we found that was open at 11, and not 12. We were pleasantly surprised! The sushi was excellent and so fresh. The staff was wonderful. The Teriyaki was really good too. I highly recommend the fried calamari appetizer. YUM. You wont be dissatisfied.

Inside the restaurant is dark and gloomy, it did not feel welcoming or inviting. They gave me Miso soup and a free “sample” of sushi that was deep fried crab with a drizzle of Eel sauce. I should have left at that moment. Food isn’t bad but isn’t good either. The Gyoza are crispy and tasty but come with the smallest amount of sauce possible. The specialty rolls I ordered were large but the rice tasted old and over cooked. There was little to no sauce on the rolls and the crazy dragon roll came with no sauce on it to my surprise. I have had better sushi from a grocery store. The Bamboo roll had sauce but not enough to help with the old/stall rice taste and texture.

Delicious sushi that rotates by you on conveyer belt (weekdays till 2pm only). The staff is very polite and the desserts/sushi/selections are really good!

This resteraunt has a unique sushi buffet offering. The chefs make the sushi in the center area and then place it on the conveyor belt that travels around either counter top seating or both seating. The sushi selections are very limited in that they make different kinds and then go on to a different type. So if you see something you like, you have to grab it up. All the food tasted great just disappointed about getting and waiting for what I want

My wife and I love sushi. We have tried so many places and they are all BLAND. Sure they might wow someone that is just starting sushi but Sushi Densha is hands down the best. Their flavors explode in your mouth. Their combination of ingredients seemed to be a mastered art. We seriously drive over an hour just for this sushi.

This sushi place has an amazing buffet and polite staff! The buffet is all you can eat sushi for $15 plus drinks…. the sushi rolls are served on a conveyer belt type of structure and you pick up plates as they come around to your table. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

We really enjoyed our first visit here. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the other reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. The presentation was well done, fresh and colorful. We will be back to sample some of the other selections. Our server was good, a little slow sometimes but cheerful throughout.

Staff are nice, sushi buffet isn’t too bad. Expect cream cheese in a lot of the sushi.

I get very excited about conveyor belt sushi. The little dishes dance by you and deliver exotic things. I like to watch the food coming and the anticipation is great fun. The problem is when you mix All-You-Can-Eat with the delightful conveyor belt sushi, the end result is an excess of California rolls, spicy tuna rolls and just about everything made with Kani (imitation crab stick).
I would recommend that you take a good look at what is on the conveyor belt before you commit to this experience. If you like imitation crab then this is the place for you. If, like me, you prefer salmon, tuna, yellowtail…. then maybe pass this one by.
Also, take a look at how busy it is. If the crowd is winding down and it doesn’t look busy, realize that the belt isn’t going to be refilled so what you see is what you get. If it is busy and folks are actively picking from the belt then you know more food will be put out because an empty belt is obviously not good for business.
But I do find that these AYCE places tend to put the cheaper items up because there is no way a belt needs THIS many California rolls. I see a lot of items like crab stick and spicy minced tuna made from scraps. While here I didn’t see any sashimi or sushi pieces. I also didn’t see any creative rolls or anything unique. I did see a few vegetarian options, though, which is good. Very few but they were there (cucumber roll, seaweed salad). Lots of dessert items on the belt as well.
I think they should call ‘All The Crabstick You Can Eat’ buffet instead. Lol. With three fellas making sushi I expected to see maybe a few phillie rolls, maybe some yellowtail, and a shrimp tempura roll. I saw no rolls topped with fish pieces and absolutely no sashimi/sushi pieces. No rolls wrapped creatively, like in cucumber or soy paper, and I didn’t see a single flying fish roe. Just very basic maki rolls.
In the end with the lack of variety and my aversion to the crabstick, I only ate about 2 maki rolls worth, which is not worth the $15 for the lunch buffet, in my humble opinion. I hope Sushi Densha sees this and decides that variety is the spice of life. Happy customers come back. Unhappy ones usually don’t.
