It was okay. The dining room was a mess, kind of grungy dirty. The brisket nachos were tasty. The mixed salsa was on point but the El jefe was disappointing. The meat was dry inside. Covering something in cheese is not the answer.
All in all it was not the best food I’ve had but it was better than some places I’ve been to too. Middle of the road.

We came for dinner and Happy Hour was ongoing from 4-7. The drinks were delicious.i like the option for spicy fajitas. While I enjoyed the fajitas, there was more fajita veggies than actual fajitas – which was a disappointment. The food was delicious. Service was great as well.

This is my favorite restaurant in Amarillo I haven’t ate here in a few months though . But I ordered sizzling fajitas the trio and I got a few Pieces of meat, but the rest was onions and bell pepper. I’m so disappointed and especially Pain 2399 and not getting my money is worth smh

2019 I’ve been a few times and it wasn’t really good the steak was tuff and one of the times I got nachos and the cheese was like plastic or like it was in the microwave. The service is great though wouldn’t recommend it.
-2024- update been a few times invited with friends. And the service is excellent everything seems decently clean. Just the food isn’t that great me and others have tried several different items, best way I could describe it is it’s not that flavorful or authentic. And the presentation on some plates are not appetizing. As seen in the attached photo.

Decent place to eat. Not my favorite. I remember why I dont go there. Waiteess was super snooty. Messed up on fajitas and only brought one order instead of two. The chicken and steak was good and tender in the fajitas. Tortillas were super dry. That was the highlight of the meal.

Hostess were very rude. We talked to a supposed manager. Told to ask for a manager to get seated next time so the hostess would not be rude to us.
My question is why don’t you make your employees do better so a manager doesn’t have to do the job that the hostess are being paid for?

I ordered a beef enchiladas plate. First the food had no flavor. To be honest it wasn’t fresh. I cut into the enchilada it was room temperature, beans were dry and not fresh, rice was definitely not freshly made. My taco that came with it. The ground beef inside was not hot. I’m not a picky eater. But when you paying full price for some food I expect the best not low quality. I wouldn’t recommend that dish. If the chef doesn’t like his job quit. I’m just so disappointed . I had high hope and wasted my hard earn money on tasteless food. 5-17-2025.
