A great breakfast! We stopped in on a Sunday around 11am. I got the breakfast platter, gf got French toast with side of hasbrowns. Meal + drinks put us at $28, which I thought was pretty good value for everything we got. Food was delicious, service was speedy. Overall, very happy with everything.

My first time at this location and I had been told how great the bread/toast is, and it is amazing! My breakfast sandwich on wheat was great…. However I paid for a fruit cup on the side and expected a bowl of seasonal fruit, nothing fancy, but was brought a plastic fruit cup like what I would put in my kid’s lunch box. So that was unexpected and disappointing. Not a bad place for a quick lunch though.

A diner style setting where everybody knows your name… It appeared that diners are frequenters here as the wait staff knew everything about everyone. They close at 2pm so you better hurry. Very good sandwiches and good size portions at super reasonable prices. It is nothing fancy but I would recommend it if your other option is Wendy’s or McDonald’s. This place is cute, they offer good food and service is on point!

I used to love this place but the last couple of visits haven’t been as good and today takes the cake. Me and my family just waited 45 minutes without any sort of sign of our food coming out. It wasn’t just us either as they might have brought out one order in the time we sat there. It’s breakfast food, it doesn’t take hours to cook.

I went to the Floyds Knobs location- first visit. Very nice atmosphere, good service, clean and not busy after 11:30. I ordered the pancake stack with bacon and scrambled eggs. The bacon and eggs were good! I asked for bananas, didn’t know they mix the fruit in the batter. That would’ve been fine except they didn’t stand out in flavor or appearance (pale) and soaked up syrup like sponges! I might check out the New Albany location and order French toast next time.

All I can say is that I was thankful there was a McDonalds nearby. Truly one of the worst service/food experiences I’ve ever endured. Obviously no training on how to host, take orders, prepare food, or remedy issues. The nonchalance with which this “restaurant” approaches the concept of service and edible food is appalling. Run. Fast.

I was not impressed with this restaurant. While we waited for our food, I couldn’t help but notice the cook with a beard, and I thought, isn’t he supposed to have a hair net? I asked my girlfriend, who used to work in the industry, and she said absolutely. Well, guess who ended up with hair in their gravy and biscuits? Yes, that would be me. The boy working there wasn’t any better when it came to resolving the issue. If he put his hand over his mouth once, he did it fifty times while chatting with the girl at the counter instead of working and earning his paycheck. Not only did he constantly put his hand over his mouth as they talked, but he was also always running his fingers through his hair as though he were a model or something. The food wasn’t much to talk about, either. A miniature cup of apple juice was $1.99. Wow, talk about inflation. Also our waitress never came back to our table one time after taking our order to see if we needed anything.
For those who don’t know about the sanitary side of the business, here’s a relevant section from the Indiana code:
Authority: IC 16-42-5-5
Affected: IC 16-42-5
Sec. 138.
(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), food employees shall wear hair restraints, such as hats, hair coverings or nets, beard restraints, and clothing that covers body hair, that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting:
(1) exposed food;
(2) clean equipment, utensils, and linens; and
(3) unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.
I hope the management takes note of these regulations to improve their hygiene standards and customer service.
