Called to make a reservation on Saturday afternoon for that evening and was told no reservation was needed for two people. And fortunately, when we got there at 6:00, there was a table for two – but it was the last one so reservations might be wise. That said, service was very good, food came out quickly and was good, noise level due to a large crowd was really bad initially but no issue after that party left.

Mi Sabor has great traditional Mexican food!
The location was a great spot on a beautiful hot day.
The inside was air conditioned nicely.
Service was great as well!
I ordered the sopes with chicken and it was okay. The flavor of the chicken was alright and the tortilla wasn’t what I was expecting. Usually the sopes are a little thicker and crunchier but these were thin and you couldn’t pick them up. Had to use a knife and fork for it.
But the churros, carne asada tacos, and pupusas were excellent. Highly recommend them. The chips with guacamole were great. Some of the chips felt a little stale.
One more thing it can get very tight and cramped inside if you’re a taller or a
T H I C C individual.

Chips and salsa were great, Chips were very crispy and the salsa tastes fresh and has a nice level of heat that isn’t too spicy. I absolutely loved the papusas, came out hot and the cabbage + the sauce are delicious put on top of them. All together a great spot and very affordable for what you get.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, excellent customer service. All three meals were great, and the chips and we devoured the chips and salsa. Definitely recommend

This was the first time I tried Mexican food in the northeast. After living in Texas so many years I didn’t think it would be good… But honestly, the food at this place was excellent!
We ordered chicken tamales and chicken enchiladas to go, as well as some plantains. Everything was delicious and tasted home made, and the tamales were huge! This place would definitely fit in near the border.

Mi Sabor is my favorite Mexican restaurant in New Jersey. Everything they serve is authentic and delicious. My wife and I always get their plantains, they are amazing. Their chips and guacamole are also highly recommended. I usually always get their beef enchiladas with red sauce, but sometimes I switch it up and get a smothered burrito. My wife’s go to is the chimichanga.
The staff is very friendly, the place is kept clean and their food is delicious. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem. With a cozy atmosphere and great staff! The food is tasteful and well proportioned. The owner comes out and walks around to see how everyone is doing! That’s awesome and that’s what’s makes this place awesome! Definitely recommend this place.

Excellent place for Mexican food.
We loved the carne asada con 2 enchiladas (it should have been labeled as “bistek” b/c we got a medium rare ribeye steak!). We also got an order of the torta milanesa with fries. Both orders were very generous!
The horchata was great, as were the complimentary chips and salsa verde.
Delicious Mexican food in this part of NJ.. finally!

So good! We got gorditas al pastor and pupusas with pork and cheese, both were delicious, freshly handmade, and the staff was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!
