Staying in Sutton’s Bay for the month and I come across this gem. The chocolate croissant and chocolate mousse bomb and molasses cookies were all divine! I will definitely be spending way too much time here in the next four weeks.

This was my favorite meal we had in Michigan. The ambiance was a highlight for sure, between the lovely scenic outdoor area, and the wonderful live music playing. However the food and coffee were ridiculously good.
The breakfast sandwich was decent, but the highlight by far was the Italian sandwich. It was, far and away, the best version of that sandwich I have ever had. If I lived in the area I would travel a long ways just for that sandwich.
Truly hope to be back!

Nick is great and is an amazing master pumpkin grower… There is a shop, deli, greenhouses, fields, it’s warm and friendly and sophisticated yet casual. Its very much a NAPA valley kinda vibe minus the NAPA valley price tag or pretension.

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend in Suttons Bay. We ended up coming to 9 Beans both times for breakfast. Both times were fantastic and I would highly recommend.

This place is the best bakery/cafe I’ve ever gone too! If near Suttons Bay we always stop and if you need a breakfast spot THIS IS IT! I’ve never heard of shakshuka but since having this for breakfast I now dream of eating this! And their bread is amazing! You must stop by if in Suttons Bay or even Traverse City. It’s worth the drive!

Let’s be real: this place is amazing! The pastries and baked goods are so solid, when I visited my wife demanded that I send her a batch of them back home. The hot food is superb!

Okay, I can’t believe it took me so long to try their pizza, I’m SO glad I did! The sauce, the crust, the toppings and of course that kiss from the outdoor pizza oven all create a beautiful symphonic pizza experience! Okay, maybe a bit of an embellishment. But believe me this pizza is worth a try, I liked the mushroom pesto the best. It can get busy so call ahead if you’re short on time. Their shop also has lots of tasty goodies!
