I tried the Tallarín Verde with chicken at Peruvian Cuisine Latin Food Blessing and I loved it.
The green sauce is fresh, creamy, and full of flavor, made with natural basil and an authentic Peruvian touch. The pasta is cooked perfectly, and the juicy chicken pairs wonderfully with the sauce.
You can taste the homemade care in every bite.
It’s a comforting, delicious, and very well-prepared dish.
Definitely one of the best Peruvian dishes I’ve had in Gainesville!
Highly recommended. The Tallarín Verde with chicken is a must-try.

This is true authentic Peruvian food. The best around town! The temperature in the restaurant could be controlled alittle but overall we loved the food. Coffee was superb!!!

Delicious lunch spot as we road-tripped. From a warm greeting, then explaining and guiding us through the diverse menu and even sharing a sample of their house juice (Chicha Morada — a definite MUST!!) it truly was a great experience. We all enjoyed our different dishes… especially the Chicken soup that warmed us up on a cold day. Definitely recommend, and my family and I are looking forward to our next visit!

This is one of those true hole-in-the-wall gems, and I’m so glad we decided to stop and try it. The food did not disappoint. The leche de tigre was fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced. The tallarín saltado and anticucho were both incredibly tasty and satisfying.

While it’s not a fancy place, it’s exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot you don’t want to miss if you’re in Gainesville. We were passing through on our way to the Panhandle and decided to stop for dinner and I can’t believe I’d never been here before.

One of the coolest moments was running into a fellow Peruvian who still speaks Quechua. That alone made the experience feel extra special. We’ll definitely be back.

Came to eat for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. The ceviche is VERY authentic, by far the best I have had. The kids ate tacos and quesadillas which were really good. A great variety of food and very nice chicha morada

‎This seafood rice at is a total blessing! I popped in after work craving something quick and got so much more: hot, flavorful rice with juicy shrimp, crisp veggies, and that authentic Peruvian kick you just don’t find everywhere.

‎Price? Super fair for the portion. And even though I showed up without a reservation, the owner smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I’ll make it special for u.” She did. Now I’m a regular. 100% recomend!

“The food was absolutely amazing! Authentic Peruvian flavors with the perfect mix of Latin spice and freshness. Every dish was full of taste, beautifully presented, and made with love. The ceviche was refreshing, the chaufa flavorful, the huancaina was great, and the portions were generous. Service was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience feel like home. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to—highly recommend for anyone craving real Peruvian Latin food!”

Amazing! I’m from Peru and I was very surprised by the resemblance in taste, the atmosphere and service! I don’t know how they managed to get their hands on the perfect ingredients to get the taste so accurately. I had pollo a la brasa and anticuchos for 28 de Julio. The prices were honestly very good for how good it was (specially the pollo a la brasa), the atmosphere and the amount. I can perfectly picture this restaurant in a random alley in Lima. They also sell some stuff like sauces, chifles, bracelets, paintings, and choclo morado to make chicha at home at decent prices. Maybe the only thing I can say is that I had to wait like 15 minutes to get served but it was completely worth it, and the potatoes next to the anticuchos weren’t to my taste but that’s probably just me! Everything else tasted amazing tho. They were also playing popular music from Peru which added to the experience. I’ll definitively be coming back many many more times 🙂
