This Mexican restaurant has the best shrimp soup in Lexington—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Their micheladas are also the best in town, well balanced, refreshing, and full of authentic flavor. Great food, great drinks, and an excellent place to enjoy real Mexican cuisine.

The place, inside, is clean and bright and colorful, and the food here is some of the best mexican food you can find locally. Certainly the best of any I can think of. I had their seafood pasta – the squid and octopus were fresh and cooked to perfect tenderness, which is a huge testament to the cook’s skills. Their house salsa is also wonderfully fresh, and their staff is friendly.
Please try Clamatos. It’s a family owned business, and the food is GREAT. You will NOT regret it.
