Food is wonderful, as is the staff downstairs. However, the kitchen is INCREDIBLY SLOW, especially when they get busy. Be careful when you put in an online order because the pick up time will most likely not reflect when your order will be ready. It is now 22 minutes past when my order said would it be ready. I understand that when a place is busy it will be slower, but 15 minutes is very different from 37, so accurate wait times would’ve appreciated. The front of house staff is doing the best can with a slow slow slow kitchen and I feel for them.

Raw burger patty. I ordered a burger and fries and selected “no pink” for the patty. Picked up my order and walked all the way home only to discover the patty was raw on the inside. Inedible. Fries were good but no one in my family would try the burger since it looked raw (and the middle was cold as if it was still thawing). I tried reaching out for a partial refund over a week ago but no response. Will not be returning.

This place is famous for their burgers “beanie” burger being my favorite , fries “Garlic aioli” being my favorite and lemonade ( regular and cucumber).
Generally this place is full, however I was surprised this time no one was inside the restaurant and the layout was also leaner. The guy behind the counter was not the friendliest, also didn’t seem interested in hosting.
I decided to just stick with the lemonade and have my dinner at another favorite of mine in Newburyport.
Lemonade was great as always.

I had the bistro fries, the instant classic, and a strawberry lemonade and everything was 10/10. I will definitely be coming back and trying the other burgers and fries.

Food is delicious, served quickly, and for a great price! You also have the choice of their creations or your own, and beef, chicken, or bean burgers. I had the urban cowboy beanie and it was one of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever tried. The bistro fries are awesome!! Also- get a milkshake

UPDATE: Since my original review below, it seems that they have resolved the overly salty fries issue. Much appreciated!
We love Lexie’s. Great burgers and fries. Unfortunately the last few times the fries have been so extremely salty that you can’t even eat them. So disappointing. Hoping they can resolve this simple issue soon so we can get back to really enjoying our favorite burger joint!
